I read about glycine on Substack. The author of this Substack said it would help with sleep. I need something other than melatonin or gummies which only worked sonetimes. Fantastic advise. I started taking it at 3grams every day and in no time I was sleeping through the night. No more waking up at 1 or 4 am staring at the ceiling. Also helped with my brain fog, sloggy memory. Better than pharma or melatonin. Highly recommend if you can't sleep well or through the night.

I’ve been using this in my coffee and tea. It dissolves completely and has a mild sweetness. The texture is similar to to white sugar. It comes in a nice package with a ziplock closure.

Glycine is an amino acid that, according to many sources, can improve sleep quality, promote relaxation, regulate blood sugar levels, and improve overall metabolism, although scientific data on this issue is contradictory and the benefits of taking glycine vary from person to person. Nevertheless, I take 2 grams of glycine daily on a regular basis, although I cannot say that I feel any significant difference in my condition. However, it has definitely helped me and some of my patients subjectively improve sleep quality and reduce overall anxiety levels, although I do not rule out a possible placebo effect. I chose the powder form instead of capsules because it is generally more economical

High quality product at a great price. Bout this a couple times before and this one seems to be even better quality as it is of finer crystals, dissolves more readily and tastes better too when mixed in drinks. An ideal way to circumvent the glycine deficit that most human beings function on everyday.

As a longtime user of glycine powder from Bulk Supplements and Micro ingredients I thought I would give this brand a try since the price was better. This stuff WILL NOT dissolve, even in very hot coffee, you are left with the consistency of sand in the bottom of your cup! Amazon won't give a refund because it was opened, so there you go...how else would you know of this issue. As an aside, there was no safety seal on the container and an unusual odor, beware EDIT I have changed this review to 4 stars! Unbeknownst to me. my gal had changed the collagen we were adding to our coffee and that was the issue, not the Glycine, I tested each separately and discovered the culprit my apologies.

First of all, it came like this, which seems to be a common problem. Secondly, it isn't glycine. It's sugar. The taste is distinct, the texture is rough and grainy (should be a smooth powder) Also doesn't fully dissolve in water. Please refrain from buying a $40 tub of sugar. Bulk supplements glycine is actually really. Only ordered this because it would be delivered sooner. Included a close up of the sugar. Glycine does NOT look like that.

It is normal for glycine to be sweet. The name Glycine comes from the Greek word γλυκύς meaning "sweet tasting". This product is as sweet as any of the other Glycine products I have tasted and has been consistently cheaper over the past year. I use it along with inulin to sweeten things. I find also use a little to sweeten tea. (Note that most proteinogenic amino acids don't decompose until 185 degrees c or more. I seem to recall that Glycine doesn't until 240 C) Humans can synthesize Glycine from serine, so it is not considered an essential amino acid but there are studies that seem to show that older adults may benefit from glycine supplementation. Note that all of the bags I have received for the last year clearly state that 1/4 tsp is about 1.16 grams. I do pour contents from the bag into a glass jar for storage once I open it.

im giveing this a 5 star because it is glycine powder and is sweat and does help with nerve problems and more however do not use this if you need to be in ketosis glycine amino acid takes you out of ketosis so do not use it if you are carnivore /keto/no sugar ................. glycine converts to process as sugar . i have a blood meter that tests ketones and blood sugar lvls . there are videos on youtube of people testing their blood also after using any brand of glycine all glycine converts to sugar and kicks you out of ketosis
