PACT Club Timer III - Shot Timer Guaranteed to Help You Improve

If you're serious about competitive shooting, particularly USPSA or IDPA, the PACT Club Timer III really is a game changer. I picked this up specifically to benchmark my dry-fire and live-fire drills, and it delivers exactly what I need without a ton of unneeded complexity. Why it's Great for USPSA Practice: Loud Buzzer: PACT is famous for their loud buzzer and it really is loud. Even with double ear protection, I have no problem hearing the start signal, which is crucial for running timed drills solo. Simple Functionality: I really enjoy the simplicity of the unit and at its core its pretty basic. You can record your total time, displaying the first shot time (great for time from holster to on target), and the timer allows you to easy review of all of your split times. I like this because I don't have to fiddle through menus or get bogged down trying to find information. Reliable Shot Detection: I had no issues with the timer consistently picking up my shots while at the range. I typically practice outdoors but have used it indoors. For outdoor ranges you can reliably get accurate shot detection but indoors can be challenging if other shooters are close to you (obviously). I find I get the best results outdoors but if you're alone at an indoor range it's just fine. If you want a durable, no-nonsense timer to measure your growth and get honest feedback on your USPSA performance, this is the one to get. A critical training tool worth every penny.

Has improved my shooting significantly. Very loud and well built. If you want to stop wasting ammo and aquire data on your performance its worth it.

Love this shot timer. It works perfectly outside and even works pretty well in an indoor range as long as you don't have other shooters in the lanes right next to you. I like that you can read it without having to touch it. Assuming it's on your belt, you can just glance down and you see your times because the screen is facing upward. You can just press one button to restart the countdown timer.

It's a good shot timer. I've had it a while now and it never has an issue picking up shots, the beep is easy to hear, and it's easy to use and the display is easy to read. There's not much to it, you can set it to instant beep or delayed beep. The battery life is good, Ive never changed the battery and I've had it for going on 2-3 years now. One thing to note is you can't set par times on it so if you're looking for a timer that can....this one can't. Other than that, I have zero complaints.

Great product! Also a required product if you are going to truly hold yourself accountable. This one replaced on I had for years that belonged to a previous employee. This really is a great product. Although I feel there are YouTube videos that do a better job of explaining how to use it than the directions that came with it.

I really don't know what took me so long to buy this. It has been a great tool, making my range days more productive. I have only used it outdoors and have had no issues with false readings. Will try indoors this winter. I have dropped it a few times, and it has not failed, so it seems pretty tough. It took me a little bit to figure out the settings and best practices for me, but I have been very happy with this purchase.

Bought this because I needed a way to objectively measure my progress to improve for 3-gun competitions. Pros: Price - I didn't want to spend $300+ for something I did not know if it would actually help me improve Features - I like how you can set Par and delay time Usability - The buttons are reasonably intuative, the numbers are large and readable for my old eyes. Once you hit review (RVW), it assumes your last shot is the end unless you set a Par time. At the range - It did not pick up other shots around me when I was doing pistol drills Cons: Features - There does not seem to be a memory. Once you start another session, the previous session is wiped out Usability - There is no backlight for the display, so at night or in a darker range, you may need a headlamp or some other lighting to see it clearly. At the range - For rifle (556), it picked up echos of the shot. I fired 10 rounds but it recorded 16. Dry fire - Does not record dry fire. Overall, worth the money for a first shot timer.

Loud beeps and easy to set. Big screen that’s visible even in very sunny conditions. Build quality is a little lacking, the plastic pieces don’t exactly fit together. But definitely a good buy.
