The 4a and 4a (5G) both need 2 separate case types. Also, the screen cover has a protective layer of plastic covering over the plastic cover itself to protect it from any scratches, you'll need to remove that as well after your phone is placed in the case. One downside is the video instructions available are not for this phone case. Separating the case just like someone said in the comments is extremely hard especially as you don't want to damage the case when you just got it. You really have to gently peel it apart on the bottom edges until you see some leeway of an opening.
