Not as heavy duty as my LP-Matador or Pearl-Elite Bongos, but then these from Eastar are a third or less of the price (the Matadors are circa £170 and the Pearl are circa £240). They're a hoot to play and have a great tone. Ideal as a first pair of bongos. I got them as a travel-set, as they are considerably lighter than my others.
