Great edition, portable, comes with nice illustrations. Covers are very flexible and do not crease, making reading the books pretty comfortable. Text is a tad small, but it's a small price to pay for such a pocket size edition, print quality is good (text is sharp and illustrations look great).

This was a gift for the holiday and it was the perfect choice. They had been wanting this set to go with their Tolkien collection of books but had been putting it off. The set arrived extremely well packaged and in beautiful condition. They love the look and feel of it and look forward to reading them. A great choice for anyone who loves the genre.

This is a gift so we haven't opened it yet. It was a good in between price option from similar soft covers to hard covers for this collection. I was a bit surprised by the size of the books. I didn't notice or read the specs but they are small to mid size books.
