Use this to set up dual monitor with my work laptop. Works perfectly every time

Bought to plug two monitors into a DELL LATITUDE 5420 and display across all three screens (EXTENDED MODE). Has been working well for 2 weeks, also really nice feature to be able to use the pass-through-power to charge the laptop without the need for another USB-C.. Unit is solid construction and smaller than expected. Only slight issue is that a wireless mouse/KB lags if plugged through the device so I plugged the receiver directly into laptop.

I've had 2 of these but have had the same issue with both with in less than a month of use. I set it up with 2 monitors using HDMI in the 2 ports. The power cable in to the port c port and a mouse in to the one of the USB. It will work fine for a while and then it appears as though the extension kit stops working intermittently. The screens will flash on and off between working solo on my laptop and multiple displays using the hub and the laptop flashes up that it is not getting any charge. I have tried turning the machine on and off when plugged in and numerous different things to see if I can get it to just work reliably but unfortunately not. I wondered if I had a faulty one as sometimes it works perfectly but the second one I had does exactly the same thing. I have tested the laptop with the docking stations at my office and they work with out interruption all of the time so it is no problem with the software on the laptop. Spoke to Amazon but they are unable to offer any technical support for these devices. I'm very disappointed as really needed this to work to help me with my home office set up. Back to the drawing board to find a more reliable device that provides what I need.

Recently got new surface 4 laptop with bundled travel hub however despite hdmi/vga port can only output to 1 monitor. Rather than spending over £200 on surface dock 2 decided to go with this relatively inexpensive dock. Hdmi 1 I have 4k at 60hz and Hdmi 2 1200p at 60 hz. Works flawlessly. If you have anything more than 1440p on hdmi 2 it will cap at 30hz. Also even if you try to limit a higher res monitor to less it will still limit to 30 hz. I also have mouse kb and Web cab in the 3 usb no issues. Build quality and material is nice, aluminium. Quite impressed for the price

My first impression of this was that the USB ports didn't quite line up with the casing so you have to slightly angle the connector to get it in the hole. My next impression was that it is a pretty neat unit that seems otherwise well put together. When I started using it with two monitors, I noticed that one of the monitors doesn't wake up after the computer has put the displays to sleep. Or rather it wakes up but then goes back to sleep. Turning the monitor off and on brings the display back to life. I thought it might be something to do with the laptop, but my other laptop has the same problem so I think it is a fault in the adapter. It's inconvenient but I can live with it. It would be good if the cable was another 50 mm or so longer.

Cracking device, connected two monitors to a laptop and am able to use each one independently.

It fits great on my MacBook Air, very easy to use, the port capacity fits my needs for what I bought it for, good quality for the money, and its functions are great.
