This would be great to travel with too, but I wanted a bag to keep the necessary medical items together even at home. I considered getting a generic bag, like a shaving kit zipper case, but I chose the medical logo so it'd be clear what type of things were inside. The straps are a great length to slip the bag on your forearm and transport it wherever. I needed a small zipper bag, that did not say First Aid kit, to carry my blood monitor, pulse oxometer, and a BP cuff. Bingo, I found it!!! I was a bit worried when I opened the bag because it first looked like it'd be too small, but man this little guy is deceiving. I fit all the necessaries in and it's not overstuffed at all. I've already got another one in my cart, in a different color, to carry prescriptions; these days, doctors are saying -- you must bring the actual bottles of prescriptions you take to each appointment; one of them even put up a sign in the waiting room that you will not be seen without your med bottles. It's another discussion that he thinks old folk either forget things or get them confused, but this bag in blue will be a lot classier than a gallon zip plastic bag that most people use. I like the idea of keeping my drugs hidden--it's nobody's business (in a crowded waiting room) what drugs I take. I could go on but you get the idea; I love this bag. Bought to fit emergency needs under back seat of truck, worked perfect not too tall. Good quality, but thankfully it doesn't get a lot of use. Nice bright color so easily stands out when needing to find.

I am an EMT and ordered this bag to keep in my car. It measures exactly as advertised but is still smaller than I was expecting. That is an issue with my expectation, not the bag itself. I have been able to fit a fair amount of stuff into the bag and it works for my purposes. The quality of the material and zippers seem good and the bag is cute. Here is a list of the things I have put in this bag: CENTER COMPARTMENT Stethoscope BP Cuff 3 or 4 4x4s 2 or 3 roller gauze tape some band aides a cravat a glucometer (in it's pouch with strips and lancets) trauma sheers a set of OPAs A few pair of gloves SIDE POUCHES 2 heat packs (one side) 2 cold packs (other side) I am pretty much out of room so I'm not sure where to put a CPR mask but I will figure it out. This is definitely not an all inclusive jump bag but it works to keep some things in my personal vehicle. It would also make a good first aid kit. For the price, I'm happy with it.

First off, check the dimensions before ordering. This is a small bag. Think large toiletries bag rather than small duffle bag. It is large enough for a stethoscope, bandages, etc. The size to me is not a negative, as I was looking for a small first aid bag that I could pack for vacation. Our home first aid kit is in a full sized EMS bag, and I don't particularly want to lug it onto a plane. This fits perfectly into our luggage, and won't take up an inordinate amount of space. The materials in the bag are obviously not the highest quality- the nylon is relatively thin, and the zippers are not heavy-duty. Having said that, I don't think I will have any problems with the materials ripping given my intended use. The upside is that the bag itself is light weight and easy to collapse as needed. The build quality seems good- the seams appear sturdy and there is a backing strip behind the main zipper to prevent snags. There is a foam bottom and divider panel for the main pocket, but the bag will be more functional without it unless you are carrying fragile items. The orange color and white star of life are essential for my tastes- I want my first aid bag to be obvious to anyone who is looking for it. I would never recommend using a black or dull colored bag that looks like luggage or a camera case- you might know which bag it is, but in an emergency you want anybody to be able to quickly locate it. If you're looking for a compact bag for your car, travel, or even your home, this is an excellent choice. I would not recommend it if you plan on carrying it around and subjecting it to repeated abuse.

I am an EMT. When I am working at the fire department, I have a spacious, generously-garnished jump bag supplied to me by the station. Off duty, however, I am left to my own devices. This bag is perfect to keep in my car, take with me when staying with friends and family, and of course, when my younger and more reckless friends invite me to their college parties. Most reviews complain of how small the bag is. However, it is exactly the size listed in the product description. In case you have trouble reading the product description, it is a little less than a foot wide. It has an adjustable divider in the center compartment (attached via velcro) to better accommodate each individual's organization methods. To give you an accurate gauge of its spaciousness, I'll list everything that comfortably fits in my bag. Left side compartment: -a copious supply of nitrile gloves Right side compartment: -trauma shears -mini note pad + pen for impromptu patient assessment, notes, and Hx -pen light -aspirin -small bottle of hydrogen peroxide -several packets of ketchup (great substitute for oral glucose in a pinch for someone with low blood sugar!) Center compartment: -alcohol pads x 6 -antiseptic wipes x 5 -lidocaine insect sting wipes x 3 -burn cream -antibiotic ointment -cotton swabs and cotton balls -4x4 gauze pads x 2 -2x2 gauze pads x 5 -3-inch rolled gauze x 2 -eye pads x 2 -many assorted bandages -1-inch tape -2-inch self-adhesive bandage wrap (honestly my favorite stuff in my bag) -instant cold compress -tongue depressors -adult CPR pocket mask -pediatric CPR pocket mask -6 different-sized oropharyngeal airway adjuncts Perhaps an exhausting list to read through, but I hope that gives a future potential buyer a good depiction of this bag's storage abilities. I grew up playing Tetris, so I've more or less mastered the art of optimally fitting as many things as possible into a small space. The only downside I have found is that I really would have liked to see a shoulder strap. It's not a big deal though, seeing as I have many extra straps from old computer bags. Including this bag, my entire emergency kit has cost me only around 60 dollars. I am seriously considering buying another to stock up and keep as a backup. Great product!

After years of packing multiple first aid kits when we traveled (band-aid box, medicine box, etc), I ordered this bag. I have several kids covering a wide range of ages, so I needed room for kid and adult medicines. This bag holds so much. I have 5 liquid bottles and 6 medicine bottles, plus our thermometer in the main pocket. There is also room at the front of this pocket for homeopathic remedies. One side pocket is full of band-aids and wound cleaner, and the other side pocket holds our nebulizer and supplies. Because it holds everything we need, it’s so easy to grab when we need it at home too. I’ve had it for a year and it’s held up really well. I highly recommend this!

Ordered this bag because as an EMT/FF who is also a county inspector for road/bridge projects, I wanted to put together a small kit of various bandages, tape, tourniquets, etc. to keep in my work truck, without constantly switching my large first aid kit from my personal truck all the time - and most of the pre-filled first aid kits "feature" items you never actually need in an emergency situation - or are completely useless (for example, a snake bite kit when the nearest venomous snake is 200+ miles away). The overall size of this bag is exactly what I wanted - has plenty of room for a half dozen pairs of nitrile gloves, some coban, ace wraps, various gauze pad/rolls, SAM splints, tourniquets, etc. without being so bulky as to take up extra space in my truck, which is already crowded with survey equipment and coats/jackets for various working conditions. The two outside pockets will work well for the frequently used/quick access items (gloves, shears). The inner liner/divider...is a joke. The liner is not attached to the bag in any way, shape, or form, and is too small for a snug fit - it is a good 1" shorter than the bag itself, so unless you always carry and store the bag flat, smaller items WILL end up underneath the liner. With the liner installed, there is a 1/4"-1/2" gap all the way around between it and the bag. Not ideal for a fully stocked kit riding in the truck. The divider not easy at all to get positioned -- I suspect it is meant to be attached with the velcro at the sides and bottom 'bent' to match the sides, but it's really too stiff for that, and the velcro has a VERY strong grip - great once you have it where you want it, but makes positioning difficult. My camera bag (with a similar divider type) has sewn in 'hinge' points to make installation of the divider easy. No such deal with this. I will have to see once I get the bag fully stocked with the items I want to carry - maybe the liner will have enough rigidity to work; if so, I will be able to keep some 6x6 pads under it and out of the way. If not, I will probably get some heavy cardboard or a thin sheet of plastic and glue the liner to it to form a hard bottom. Just realize that in the product picture, for as 'floppy' as the inner liner looks, it's not nearly that strong in real life.

I needed to assemble a medical kit for my daughter's dorm room as she headed off to university. I gotta say, I was thrilled with what I could fit into this and I still had some room to spare. There were fifty-eight items! One side pouch has the boo-boo kit. The other side pouch has a trauma kit. The main pouch has general medicines and supplies. Everything from cough syrup to instant cold packs. Yes, I did de-box some items and use jewelry bags to hold the blister-packs. I'll post a pic of the contents to hopefully give readers some ideas. Super happy with this bag. It's small enough to tuck away in a tight space, but still big enough to hold everything I thought was needed. As it is fairly new, I couldn't speak to its durability and the fabric is fairly light-weight but it isn't going into a difficult field experience, it's gonna sit until needed and it seems completely fine for the purpose. I was tempted to spend more and am very glad I didn't.

I purchased this bag with the intention of carrying my first aid supplies in it and having the bag fit under the passenger seat in my vehicle. It fits perfectly. If you pack carefully, you can fit a decent amount of items in the bag. All the zippers seem to be great quality, so no complaints there. The bag is highlighter/neon orange, so a little brighter than what I had anticipated (even better). The side pockets are also quite roomy. I didn’t like the optional divider for the main compartment as it is flimsy and not secured to the bag but rather sticks to another insert (also flimsy). I prefer to use plastic bags to sort my items anyways. Outside of using this in my car, I could see this bag being used on construction sites, household, camping, or sporting.

Starting to see a pattern with all these Chinese made products. The photo accompanying this listing is photoshopped, and therefore, a blatant lie. this product is tiny, to the point that is essentially useless. this so called 'First Responder' bag would be an ominous sign at the scene of an accident. if you want to fit more than band aids, a couple of bandages and a tube of cream, then I'd look elsewhere.
