SUCH A PERFECT LIPSTICK!!

I am a lipstick fanatic. I have become very picky because I want something reasonably priced so I can have one in my purse and one in my make-up drawer. I also like it easy to apply and not sticky like lip gloss, but with shine. This is it! It's a great color for different skin types and it is inexpensive. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

I like this somewhat neutral but slightly shimmery color (205). It is flattering to my complexion and I think it would work well on different complexions.

This review is my first reaction and does not reflect long-time wear or use of the lipstick. I was very pleased with my color choice when I first opened the tube. (I wanted to match a color I've worn for about 10 years. The lipstick in the tube is completely flat. It's a Mary Kay product.) The matte lipstick line from Maybelline is great! It's smooth and creamy, and the formula isn't drying. I've found that it seems to moisturize my lips (which aren't too dry to begin with) and gets the dry skin to peel off as Vaseline would. If my lips are very dry, then the lipstick accentuates the cracks, and is difficult to put on as it doesn't glide across the lip. For best results, moisturize and exfoliate the lips, but the lipstick is forgiving if the lips are just a little bit dry. The lipstick has awful staying power on me, as I tend to wipe tissue across my face. I currently use an LA Girl lipliner which comes right off, so I need to find a better one that will stain and/or help the lipstick stay on longer. The lipstick doesn't stain my unlined lips, even if I perform the blot-apply-repeat routine. If I eat or drink anything, the lipstick is gone. It gets on everything too as it never dries to a wipe-proof state, so be careful if you need to sneeze into your elbow as you will end up with a lipstick stain on your shirt or skin. For the price, I don't mind reapplying, and I certainly don't want to deal with the drying effects of the liquid matte lip cremes. The colours are opaque, pigmented and not at all streaky, so I'll stick to this lineup. I really wanted to love Touch of Spice, but it didn't love me. My skin-tone calls for orange undertones, while Touch of Spice has a definite pink undertone which looks bright pink when exposed to camera flash. It's a gorgeous colour, just not for me. I'm still trying to figure out what my undertone is (yellow or golden) as pink lipstick looks awful on me. It looks absolutely wonderful on my mom (red undertone) though, it's the perfect colour for her. Nude Nuance works a lot better on me, it's a brown lipstick that has a hint of red or mauve, and I think it has an orange undertone. But it does seem a bit dark on me. I've also tried Toasted Truffle, but it's very dark on me, like a dramatic dark. I bought all three colours on Amazon, and I'm itching to try out Raw Chocolate and possibly Clay Crush which might give me the right brown/orange colour in a lighter, more daytime shade. I just haven't found the one that instantly brightens up my face. My skintone is tan or medium-tan, there doesn't seem to be any consistency across makeup lines. In LA Girl liquid foundation, I'm tan. I hope this helps anyone with a similar skin-tone!

It didn't come in any type of packaging. The color is great it's just the color I wanted. But arriving loose in no packaging makes me wonder if it's actually new. It looks new as in it's not beat up looking but who knows nowadays. So to sum it up, love the color not thrilled with it arriving loose in no packaging.

beautiful color & texture, it's not light weight but just fine application. put it over a moisturizer to avoid dryness on lips.

Amo el color de este labial,es un rojo suave, el labial te hidrata los labios,lo malo es que es fácil de dejar la marca en los vasos, botellas etc y que ya no se consigue tan fácilmente en el súper y aquí en Amazon , lo están descontinuando como varios tonos que ya no veo 😕
