Twisting loosens them a little, but they don't just fall out of the container. You have to knock them out or try and pick them out - thereby handling all of the cubes with your fingers. Yeccchhh. The cubes look good, but what a pain to remove. I don't recommend unless you just gotta have a cute little square ice cube and your guests don't realize you've handled them all with your fingers and hands. Package makes no mention about the safety of use of these either......Since nothing is mentioned about the chemicals used to manufacture, I assume it's not good. ### ⭐⭐ Love these trays at first, Not so much now 6 months later *by C***. on May 28, 2016* These trays are so great and do not take up much room, the make more than the old standard long trays. Water freezes quickly and the ice pops out with ease. Update October 1, 2016: I've had these trays since April. At first I loved them! You pop the cubes out by turning over and pressing the bottom with your finger. Easy as that. However, the ice cubes have recently started leaving an after taste. The trays themselves smell. I've tried soaking in lemon juice and no change. Don't want to use a harsh chemical for the obvious reason. I am concerned about what they are made of that cause them to smell and contaminate the ice cubes so much. They were filled with bottled water. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Basic ice cube tray that does the job! *by R***Y on December 30, 2015* The ice maker in my fridge broke recently so I decided to try this ice cube tray. I've had my eye on a product like this and this did not disappoint.Honestly, there's not much to say about a product that is basic is nature like this and works perfectly. The rubber material of the tray is great and easy to wash and fill up. I did not have any issues using the product and I've already used it multiple times. The ice freezes pretty quickly and I stack them on top of each other with no issues (alternate them).
