un-du Original Formula Sticker, Tape and Label Remover (Cannot Be Sold in California) - 4 Ounce

This product is nothing short of a miracle! No exaggeration. I often buy used records but only those in near mint condition. For some reason these used record stores like to apply ugly gummy price stickers right on the record labels. Whether a price sticker or those annoying multi-colored round office stickers, they are difficult or darn near impossible to remove without damaging or tearing the label. Un-du works like magic at removing stickers from sensitive record label paper. The clear liquid rapidly saturates the sticker and lifts it from the label. I then carefully pull it off and there is no residue, label bubbling or damage to the record label whatsoever. The applicator/scraper thing is a little weird but I guess it's designed to start lifting the sticker off as soon as the liquid comes out as the Un-do evaporates very quickly. I prefer to tilt the bottle, let some liquid come out and gather some up with a plastic pick and then apply it the sticker myself. I feel like I have more control doing it that way. The product is color-less, odor-less and even works on 40-50 year old stickers.

Is this stuff made from the tears of Elves ? Or maybe the dew drops off a Wizard's hat? All I know, is it's GOT to be made with some kind of magic or wizardry... that's the only way I can explain it. I used to work as a library technician and this is the ONLY product we would use to get stickers or anything sticky off books. I personally use it to remove labels and stickers off of DVD and Blu-Ray cases. And after all these years, I am still mystified how it could possibly work so good! If there's a sticker on the page of a book, you put a few drops of the liquid at the edge of the sticker to loosen it up. Then keep applying drops as you use the applicator to remove the sticker; applying the liquid throughout the process. The page will look like it's got a bunch of liquid on it. Wait... doesn't liquid ruin a book? Yes. But not this. You could pour a half bottle of this stuff on a page of a book. Wipe it down, blow on it... and like magic, it's gone. I can't explain it! There is zero residue. Zero markings. Zero damage. I can't think of another liquid in the world that doesn't leave a mark or some kind of damage on paper. Craziest thing of all? By some mystical properties, the sticker you just removed STAYS STICKY!! Yes. You can reapply the sticker to anything you want. Other products are just an adhesive remover. Sticker is worthless after you use them (not to mention your paper will have a gigantic grease spot where the liquid poured out). Not this stuff. It is crazy. The price point is high, but it's worth every penny (those Elven tears are expensive)! As someone who has used this for years, I have never found a better product to remove sticky things that doesn't leave a residue. 10/10 Gold star all the way!

this is by far the best stuff ever made. i make cards and paper crafts and this will fix my many mistakes in seconds and you'd never know you had a boo boo. i had an issue getting the bottle open so i had my husband try and he crushed the bottle (does't know his own strength) so i called the number on the bottle since my return window with amazon had ran out. the lady at un-du was so super nice! she asked me a couple questions and said she knew about the issue and they had addressed the problems with the defective lids but unfortunately i had gotten a defective one and would send me a replacement right away. then to my surprise it arrive in just 2 days. i was given the absolute best service from the lady at un-du and would recommend their product to anyone! use it for types of cleaning, industrial grade solvent , buying paper goods that need cleaned you name it, it doesn't stain and evaporates in seconds and has hardly any odor. you will be absolutely amazed by this stuff. just google it and watch a video or 2 of its uses, the videos will be enough to convince you to buy it and you will still be blown away at how well it works when you use it yourself! every single time i use it i am amazed. i demo it to people because i think it is something everyone should have on hand. it is not like goo gone, which is a good product as well but just not the same thing. kinda an apples and oranges sorta thing... but you need this in your life i am telling you. i am not sponsored or endorsed or affiliated with this company at all. just a believer of their product, and love the service i got from them. they have a lifetime customer!

Perfect product for removing double sided tape from photographs without harming them. My sister put together a memory board after our father passed using new and old photos. She used the wrong kind of tape and it was damaging the original photos when we tried to remove them from the poster board. I purchased this product and a tiny bit easily allows you to remove tape and sticky residue from even fragile old photographs. It leaves no trace of residue or damage to the images! Great product!

This product does remove most stickers leaving no residue or scent behind. It evaporates well. I used it on two spinal library stickers to perfection. A tougher barcode sticker on front of book jacket mostly removed with very little surface loss, but not to perfection when working quickly. Top edge of that sticker was left in place when repeated application of Un-du eventually softened paper enough that handling it wore a small hole, again when working quickly with pretty determined scraping. Might have worked better if I was gentler at the work. Tape was removed successfully, but it left glue behind on the jacket.

Works well but has a very strong odor.

Great for removing anything sticky without ruining the item.
