Sesame Songs - Sing Yourself Silly!

I bought this as a CD when my kids were little in the 90's. I just bought the DVD for my first grandchild.The nostalgia and happy, catchy tunes are timeless. My grandson is always engaged when he is treated with watching it.

My son, Christian, is nearly 19 years old. I bought this video for him when he was about 2. He could barely talk but he adored this video. He memorized the words to all the songs. He jumped and danced and twirled for hours. I've since searched just to find this so that if I EVER have grandchildren, they can enjoy it just as much. After I bought it, a neighbors child found it in my DVD cabinet and wanted it, so I gave it to him. I'm now buying it for my great-nieces for Christmas as they are BIG Elmo fans. It may seem just a little dated as the clothing isn't exactly the latest fashion, but I don't think the kids would notice one bit! I can even still remember the words!!

Great dvd that I remembered from when my children were toddlers. This dvd is full of catchy sing along songs that are timeless and a joy to sing along to with your toddler or grandchild. Sesame Street is wholesome entertainment that you do not have to be concerned with your family watching...Give it a try, it will become your favorite!

I have purchased several of these as part of shower gifts. I've always loved this DVD, it's so funny. Lots of old clips from years gone by of funny kids songs, some by popular singers. You and your child/grandchild will be laughing while watching this. I sang some of the songs while grandson was crying in grocery store and quickly had him laughing and singing along.

I'm not sure how many copies of this I've bought over the years. I bought the original on VHS many years ago and replaced it a couple of times when it got worn out and I've bought the DVDs for nieces and nephews over the years. My kids are 26, 23 and 16 now and they all watched this when they were little. Oddly enough, all these years later, they still love it just as much! So I bought them each their own copy to watch and for their kids to watch (someday). This is the kind of kid's video that adults will love to sing along with, too - the songs are infectious and fun! This is one of our family's absolute favorites!

While this is an old video, and the quality isn’t top notch, my kids loved this on VHS when they were young, and now I purchased for my granddaughter to watch. She loves it!

Years ago I had the older VHS version of this for my kids. I was now able to purchase the DVD version for my grandkids. Neat that it can be enjoyed by the generations. Quick shipping!

I have to review this from my sons perspective, not mine. He is now eight months old, he was six months old when we got this. It must be played at least once daily. He perks up, crawls to the TV and watches every moment, sometimes he pulls up on something and does a sort of infant butt-shake-boogey. When Kermit and Don Music start writing out the Mary had a Bicycle song however he loses interest and wonders off in various ways for a bit until it comes back around - that is minus one star. It took my wife and I both several days to master saying "Honker Ducky Dinger" without screwing it up.

My kids LOVE this video! We've had it for a few years now, (daughter 6, son 3), and they still ask to watch it when they want to dance and sing. It's very old school and reminds me of when I was little watching Sesame Street. Makes me smile to watch my kids sing and dance to these songs.
