Each earthenware pot has its own unique characteristics due to the nature of the natural soil and hand making process. Compatibility Onggi pottery is compatible for use on the following kitchen appliances Electric Gas Oven Microwave One dish to prepare, cook, serve and store your favorite meals! Onggi Pottery has longer heat retention to enrich and bolden deep flavors. Essential for stews, soups, braises, rice (bibimbap), noodles, stir-fry and many other hot dishes. CARE & USE Onggi pottery are a breathing vessel because there are microscopic holes throughout the bowl. If you wash it with ordinary detergent, the detergent may enter the microscopic holes and come out during cooking. Do not use any soap or detergent unless it is chemical-free. 1. Wash with water and a chemical-free detergent. Use a soft scrub.
