I needed a square mat in these dimensions to comfortably have something to easily feel my way around in roomscale VR and this worked perfect on my floors. The dimension helped me feel if I go out of bounds or getting close to. The bottom side is extremely grippy and textured so it doesn't budge even when jumping or moving around a lot like in Supernatural VR. The cushiony top is very dense and has the feeling of a really nice pair of shoes which let's me not need to have shoes on because the absorbation of this is more then enough. It also feels very durable, yeah im so glad i got this.

This is gym floor type mat, its stiffer and more durable than typical cheaper yoga types, it has fused dual layers -bottom side for the floor grip and top side that has softer and more comfortable side, mat didnt have any funky chemical or plastic odors and was pleasant to use out the box, comes with convenient storage bag, 6 x 6 size is perfect for me - its easy to set up and put it away when needed, larger size may be more difficult to stow away. Its suitable and comfortable for all types of exercises: standing, jumping or floor variety.

I started using this mat the first day I got it. I rolled it out on my carpeted floor and walked along the edges. The mat flattened right away. I have been using it everyday, exercising twice a day on it, for about a month now. I have so far done weight lifting, boxing, primal movements, Pilates, yoga and certain types of cardio exercises on this mat. It stays in place most of the time - it moves a little bit during some of my cardio but I could hardly sense the movement of the mat during my exercises. I only know it has moved after I am done with my workout sets and check the mat’s position relative to my furniture in the room. It has strong grip for my yoga poses, meaning my hands and feet aren’t sliding while I hold my poses. That said, because of the mat’s grip ability and the fact that it does move a little against my carpeted floor, if I do cardio, I would only choose exercises that don’t change directions frequently. So For cardio, I only do burpees, squat jumps, jump rope, jogging in place, jumping Jack, mountain climber, shadow boxing and low-impact skater moves. I would NOT recommend dancercise, moves that require pivoting on one foot and gliding, roundhouse kicks, high-impact HIIT, agility drills that require lots of sudden stopping and quick change of directions because the mat has traction and you might twist your knee or ankle performing those moves. Those types of cardio are meant for wooden floor or heavy-duty gym mat that has a smooth surface and is 100% stable. So this mat is good if you know its limitations. I love it personally because it’s adequate for my home workouts. As for ease of cleaning? Checked. I wipe it down with wet towels and disinfectant wipes after my workouts.

I train with kettlebells in a spare room with laminate flooring. At first I tried an area rug, but it didn't provide enough cushion for Turkish getups, and it was a bit slippery for planks and pushups. Next I tried to go cheap with a horse stall mat, but the off gassing was unbearable. After a lot of searching and review reading, I was down to this and some quality rubber puzzle tiles. I elected to choose this mat because of the reviews and the fact I didn't need to throw down heavy barbells onto rubber flooring. This mat has everything I need: comfortable cushioning without being too soft, excellent grip for floor work, protects my floors, and available in blue, my favorite color. You really do get what you pay for, and even at $150 for the 6' x 6', this is an excellent value. Don't be cheap and buy those cheap foam puzzle tiles. Invest more money into quality. You won't regret it.

These mats are great! I shopped around for a long time to find a good flooring for my garage gym, then bought one of these to try it out. I liked it so much I ended up buying another one to have more space. It's got a nonslip grip on the bottom so doesn't move when doing plyo training. Also has a really great thickness, my old flooring was too thin and wore down quickly. This one has lasted, and without any rips, tears or dents because the material is so durable. If you're looking for a great home gym flooring option, I highly recommend these. Great product for a great price.

I decided to get this mat after owning the small version and I knew I wasn’t going to be disappointed. Perfect size, very thick as I like and no smell at all. I am very much pleased with the quality and the quick delivery. I also like is not slippery and love the range of activities I can do such as jumping moves, yoga, burpees without parts of my body being off the mat. I have this mat placed in my garage that has concrete floor and turned out to be perfect. I highly recommend this product, it is 100 % worth it.

I have had it for a week and have already gotten great usage out of it. I have used it for cardio, weight training, kettlebell training, and my toddler loves to jump and play on it. It is a solid mat at a good price compared to others on Amazon. If you are looking for high quality at a lower price than you can't go wrong with active gear mats.

Couldn't have asked for a better product. Stays in place, easy to set up, comes with a great bag for transportation, and gives my joints some cushioning when jumping rope. It also helps protect my floor.

Sturdy semi firm mat. Great to put my bench press and weights on it and to do my exercises. Purple color is not too bad. It adds nice color to the room.

Description says its high density but its not, easily presses down anytime pressure is put on it
