This is a superior product to most jaggery out there. The smell and taste are delicious! I love the texture as well. A fine powder, with some very small chunks mixed in. Amazing for tea, coffee, porridge and everything else.

Would be better value in kilo size

It’s a natural and chemical free sweetener which tastes lovely and excellent in cookies or cakes but even in teas. I really enjoy it even in my coffee. It’s a bit pricey though but all the other “alternative” foods are pricey too. I would recommend it to try it.

I made some pancakes with this natural sweetener and the taste was very good, delicious. Usually, I'm using sugar for it and never had so great taste. I'll probably buy some more when I will finish this pack, but the price seems a bit high as I saw the same product on Amazon for the same price, but there was 1kg of this sweetener.

We very much like this as an alternative to soft brown or muscovado sugar on things like porridge. It tastes great and of course is unprocessed and free of chemicals. The number of calories, by weight, is about the same as in soft brown sugar. Whether you believe the health claims is up to you; we don’t use enough sugar to benefit, even if the claims are valid. It’s really annoying that, despite the advice that it must be kept airtight, the pouch it comes in isn’t resealable. The pouch won’t stand up by itself, either. Despite those irritations, we’d happily use this in all sorts of recipes, if it weren't for the price. I’m afraid we really can’t justify the extra cost over other sugars.

Very versatile as there are many uses for jaggery powder. So far we have used it in sweet and savoury dishes and it has been great! Not too sweet and overpowering in flavour. Really great alternative to white sugar for making fruit jams or compote.

I am very pleased with the flavor of this sweetener. This is a coarse grain product but dissolves easily in my hot coffee. I will probably order again when needed.

Taste good

I didnt like the look ( color) of this jaggery powder. It didnt seem to have a clean look. Looked like it had other ingredients mixed with it, but I couldn't say for sure. Needles to say I threw it out after a few use
