I thought the 4" elbow p/n 70105 would slide into the 14" dust hood p/n 70132. what am i missing?

They should be the same size as they are both 4”. You can use the POWERTEC p/n 70149 Dust Control Flex Cuff with Hose Clamps, 4-Inch to connect them both.

Would this fit a tube/tunnels for a ferret to run through for fun?

I was asked to answer this question, but I actually purchased the POWERTEC 70178 Elbow, 2-1/2". I think to answer, one would need to know the maximum diameter of the ferret, as well as its minimum turning radius.
