Quality product
I purchased the liner, and insulation package and they arrive in short order. The liner is durable and moderately easy to work with but a helper, quality tin snips and gloves will ease your pain and significantly speed up the process (the helper particularly for the unrolling and wrapping). Would definitely recommend.

Definitely do it yourself
If your handy this is not very difficult. I did a 13' length with the 1/2" insulation installed on a 4/12 pitch roof by myself. (I would recommend an assistant though). Excellent draft so far with the single wall style.

Liner review
It was my first time putting a liner on the pipe for a chimney. The whole process wasn't terrible. My wife and myself put the insulation and metal sock/sleeve on in probably less than an hour. The metal sock is the hardest part of this process. Stuffing the pipe down the chimney was a little more difficult but her and I were able to get that done as well. After getting the pipe through the flue we were able to hook it to our wood burner and we have been using it since November with out any problems. I would recommend this kit if anyone is looking for one. The whole process wasn't that bad. I guess I only knock a star off because of the installation of the metal sock as I call it. It is not the easiest thing but manageable. Getting the pipe through the flue was the hardest part but that was not the fault of pipe of this kit.

Two person job
This is more than a one person job. The insulation was a pain to mess with and the wire mesh needs to be tight so it doesnโt get hung up.

Great Product!
Shipped extremely fast! The product is great, keeps the continuous stainless steel liner warm to help prevent creosote buildup while using our fireplace insert. It fit our 6 inch liner with a nice 1 inch overlap. This kit includes everything you need to attach it to your liner; Foil tape (plenty extra), spray adhesive (we weren't sure where to use this and got worried when we saw the can said "extremely flammable" so we didn't use it), wire sock, and 3 large pipe clamps. This is a must if your chimney is on the outside of your house! Don't skip the step of insulating your liner, you will regret it!

A must for installing a SS liner for your insert
Great complement to the stainless steel liner I bought from fireside chimney supply on amazon. Just be careful not to pull the insulation all the way down to the appliance piece. It's not actually the same length as the liner. It's actually about 5 feet shorter than the liner (or I just got shipped the wrong one). This is required in order to keep the warranty active on your Stainless steel chimney liner.
