Fantastic bed frame. I paid for the Amazon unpack service which was really handy. Two lovely guys came and delivered the frame and carried it up two flights of stairs in my very narrow house which was incredibly helpful. They took all the packaging away too! The bed itself was incredibly easy to put together. I got a super king frame, so a friend helped me to assemble, but it was so easy that for smaller frames it could be done alone!The bed came with really clear instructions and two tools for assembly which was great. The quality of the bed is very very good - really solid and study. It’s a nice low frame which works well for me in an attic bedroom, but it has plenty of space underneath to store a lot of things too!It doesn’t take up any more space than the size of the mattress, which is really good considering I have a super king! The anti-slip tape is a great touch as well to keep the mattress in place! I have been using the bed for a while now and everything is perfect! So happy with my purchase and I really recommend this for anyone who is looking!

I couldn't have been more impressed with this whole experience. Intially I was not too sure about buying from Amazon, understandably. I was reading the reviews about this bed, very positive and most importantly, I wanted to know about the weight bearing. Got what I wanted so I ordered it. Delivery was quick, packaging was most impressive, they have plastic wrapped the Styrofoam, I was incredibly over joyed by this as styrofoam is the worst to get rid of! The packaging was top tier. No parts damaged, nothing missing, even the screws and tools were better than IKEA!.Didnt take long to assemble the bed, there was two of us, once done we both lay back and there was no creeking, not movement, the fact that the slats in the middle are bound by velcro was even better. There is an option to stick my mattress to the slats as well. Its just an all around good bed! Soooo impressed.

Firstly, this has some of the best instructions and tools I have ever received with a flatpack item. Secondly the quality of the item is first rate, all the materials feel relatively thick and sturdy along with the fixings which make it feel well put together and is designed to last. Finally the way the slats fit, with the dowel as a marker is particularly clever and well thought out, never seen before, but amazed no one else has thought about it.I particularly like the way the pieces are labelled to match the ends with the numbers facing in to each other, so even if you dismantle it, you know how it will go back together. I would be worried if I was IKEA or one of the other big brands based on the quality of this product.

Nice double bedframe that we bought for my 8 year old son. Its nice and low to the ground so I don't have to worry about him falling out and hurting himself. Quality seems solid and pretty easy to put together as someone that doesn't put together furniture very often. Nice colour.

I very rarely leave reviews. However, having recently bought a Zinus double bed frame, I felt I had to commend the company on their excellent product.I was involved in the furniture trade many years ago and I've put together more than enough flat-pack furniture products at this stage in my life to consider myself well experienced in the positive and negative traits of this type of furniture. We've all been there; missing or damaged parts, indecipherable build instructions, misaligned screw holes etc etc. I'm pleased to say that you get none of these things with the Zinus Alexia. From the moment I took delivery of the product I could see that Zinus had put a lot of care and thought ito their workmanship. The bed came double boxed and every part was carefully individually wrapped and numbered. The build instructions were simplicity themselves - working alone I had this double bed built and in place in under an hour with no scratching of the head at whether any piece was upside down etc. Zinus had placed stickers on the parts indicating which way was up etc. They also included in the package a complementary, well-designed and sturdy little ratchet which has found it's way into my toolbox for future use, as well as an envelpe containing a lovely little message to the new owner - me (it's the small details that count). The bed is ingeniously designed and the the wooden frame parts are beautifully machined and finished and fit together perfectly. The parts are all well-coated with a good thick layer of varnish (unlike many other products on the market where the varnish is thin and patchy).When I first saw this bed frame on Amazon, I thought that the high-scoring reviews and the low price were too good to be true. They're not - this bed frame is actually worth every one of the 5 stars I've given it. It's refreshing in an age of shoddy workmanship and disregard for the customer to see such a well made and thoughtfully designed product.

I was a bit wary about buying this bed as I am a big ole queen.But after doing some research on YouTube and reading various reviews from the uk and the USA , I decided to buy it.I got it for 31% less due one of amazon's weird promotions for £182 .Ordered on the Tues arrived on the Friday at 11.30 , fully assembled by 13:00 , very clear instructions .Came in one box , loved the fact they shrink wrap the polystyrene . Very easy to assemble , every piece is numbered the bolts are clearly marked and you have a couple spare , the slats are in 2 packs , makes fitting them dead easy .So I unpacked the headboard and placed it were I wanted the bed , fixed on the legs , then the headboard cross bar , then attached the legs to the side runners and then attached the based end board , I then joined it all to the headboard and then put in the centre support and finally unrolled the slats . Everything is clearly marked , and each part of the instructions tells you what number goes where and which screws and how many you need for each section.Put my mattress on, and it feels really solid and it looks nice .Definitely worth the money.

Can't really fault this bed frame at all. The instructions are really clear, and the pieces are thoughtfully put together (particularly appreciated the base slats which are attached together with velcro straps and simply spread out and stuck in place to the frame rather than individually screwed in place). My husband and I put it together in less than an hour, although it would have been possible to do as a one man job in a little more time. Once put together it is very strong and sturdy, and I think will last a long time. Considering the price, it is fantastic value for money.
