Quality piece at a good price.
This is a very good and accurate caliper. I have found it to be very useful when measuring diameters and thicknesses that require precision. The caliper rolls in and out effortlessly. A quality piece at a good price.

Fantastic
works great. Its accurate and consistent which in reloading a 300 Win Mag to shoot long distance means everything.

Well made and accurate.
Great little tool. Very sturdy and has a nice case to store it in.

Pretty good, not the best though
Nice tool, big screen and numbers, pretty smooth roll, still is after 5 years of use (not as when it was new). One flaw was that when it went slightly splashed with etanol (70%), the numbers got a bit out of control, but it went back to normality after it got dry.

As advertised
I've used this primarily in my hobby for several months now. It is smooth to operate and results are repeatable. The screen is large and easy to read. The function buttons have some "feel" to them which make them easy to use. I like that it shuts down automatically in a few minutes when not in use. Someone mentioned that it seemed heavier than other calipers he had used. I think it has a solid feel and have no problem with the extra weight, if there is any. The case is plastic and the latches may not last forever but I find it easier to just leave it on a convenient shelf ready to use. I have not changed the battery yet so am unable to comment on that operation. All in all, I'm pleased with this caliper and would buy it again. If I was going to use this professionally, I'd buy a Starrett or Mitutoyo but for the rest of us this will do the job.

Calibrated accurately from the factory and solid construction!
I choose this item for the solid metal construction and battery door configuration. I wasn’t too thrilled with the blue color but you can’t have it all. Out of the box it was wrapped in corrosion resistant paper in the plastic case. The plastic case is a but cheap but again for the price can’t complain. The caliper itself is solid. I was surprised at how heavy and solid it felt. Moving the jaws back and forth resulted in accurate readings always going back to 0 with jaws closed. With jaws closed and holding it against light parallelism was excellent with no gaps or deviation. The real test is accuracy. Using a NIST calibrated Mitutuyo block the reading was accurate with no error. Very satisfied. Great buy and recommended!

Inaccurate and no where near precise
This is a nice looking caliper, solid metal construction but as accurate as a blind man throwing darts in a dark room. For example. Zero then measure, say 10.26. Return to 0 and it will read anything from -0.01 to 0.01. It may momentarily return to 0 but then will jump again. Without being touched. So let's say you zero it out, wait a moment and nothing happens. Measure your 10.26 again and you can get a number from 1mm to 2mm off in any direction. Makes this unreliable and inaccurate. As I write this it sits beside me going from 0.0 to 0.01 and back. Just sitting. The construction is great, heavy. The case is great as well. If it were accurate it would be ok to use. Has all the features you'd want from a caliper for home use. Just can't be trusted. Look elsewhere. Not even worth the one star. Returning.
