The large bowl itself that fits inside the machine is not supposed to have ice cream frozen in it because it can damage it. I leave the empty bowl in my freezer until I'm ready to make a batch and then empty the contents into a Tovolo tub. I looked at other tubs but this brand seemed to have the best reviews, was reusable, and decent in price. They fit about 1.5 quarts and I have a little extra in the machine that I either eat or just put in a small Tupperware dish. I know you can go directly on the Cuisinart website if you need any part numbers for a specific model. I did see extra bowls for the machine on their site and on amazon. Just get your model number for your machine and type that in the search box. **Q: Does anyone know how this compares to the ICE-60W model?** A: The ICE-70 is a step up from the ICE-60W model -- it has an auto count-down feature.
