Make sure you use SPI1 connections on your processor board with example software
Documentation for SD HC card readers for 'home development' is very confusing. I am using an Arduino GIGA R1with this SDHC card reader (Pzsmocn: Micro-SD/TF Memory Card Reader ). The examples that you can download, e.g. from Arduino, all assume you are using SPI. A lot of the documentation you will find uses pins 11, 12 and 13. On the Giga R1 these pins are for SPI5. The SPI pins on the GIGA R1 are in a 'central cluster' on the R1 board labelled 'SPI' . There are 6 pins. You need to use 4 of these. Pin 1 (SPI1_CIPO) on the R1 goes to MISO(DO) on the reader. Pin 6 GND on the R! goes to GND on the reader, Pin 3 SPI1_SCK on the R1 goes to SCLK on the reader. Pin 4 (SPI1_COPI) on the R1 goes to MOSI(DI) on the reader. You then need to connect the 3.3 volt supply from the R1 board to the 3.3V pin on the reader and connect pin 10 on the R1 board with the CS pin on the reader. Once I did this I think all of the downloadable examples worked perfectly. The Pzsmocn itself seems to work perfectly😊

Not the cheapest but good quality
Well assembled, sharp clear labelling for both SD and SPI mode.

Works flawlessly with ESP32 Wrover-E, can use the CD pin to detect card (labelled) and data goes great from and to card. Excellent quality!

Work great with my esp-s3 N8r2 chips in arduino

Super consigliato
