These didn't take long to get to work. They did exactly as stated. They cleaned my tools with no issues or hassles. Just put the block in a drawer with your tools and leave them alone. They fit very well in any drawer and can be cut down to any size you want. They don't have a strong smell. Overall highly recommended for the money.

march 17 2026. each of the 4 wrapped clocks have 4 individual sqaures. i live in the rust belt, so rust is prevalent. smells of camphor. put a square in each of my tool drawers. will update when one evaporates, and see if its worth the investment.update: may 22 2026, blocks have melted and things look as usual, small kine flash rust, idk if i used enough squares per square inch of drawer space. but it may be placebo effect but i think ill keep using it. maybe in larger amounts? or smaller space would work better. leaves that old woodworkers toolbox smell. very nostalgic.

Seems to be to "go to" solution to prevent rust from forming on tools. I put these blocks in my toolbox box and still waiting to see how it works. It does have an odor, but it's not unpleasant.Edit: I have been using it for some time now and I must say it works extremely well!! I haven't had to clean my tools from any form of rust! I highly recommend picking some up for your tools.

I use camphor to make a paste for poison ivy, or in my case, poison sumac. There used to be a liquid you could use called Ziradryl. It was great. Put it on once or twice and you were healed. It worked well so of course they stopped making it. I had an old bottle and figured out a similar "recipe" that I use on myself whenever I get into the sumac. I have a bunch in my garden so I will be using a lot of the mixture and camphor is one of the ingredients. I will be cleaning out all the sumac so wish me luck.

I heat peanut oil and add a block of camphor to the hot oil then use the cooled mix on my horses hooves as a conditioner.Works well.

I put these in my safe to prevent rust on my firearms. I also put a piece in the drawers of my tool boxes.These work great for that!! No more rusting tools.They will slowly dissolve so they need to be replaced every few months (3-6) but they're cheap so not a big deal. Much cheaper then an expensive tool rusting up!An added bonus, when I open my safe, I get a slight whiff of Camphor and it's a pleasant smell.
