Shopkins Collectors Case

My niece is obsessed with this. These Shopkin things are ridiculous, but this case goes with her everywhere and she gets lots of compliments.

Just what my granddaughter wanted

My almost five year old granddaughter is a big Shopkins fan. She has quite a collection of the tiny characters, and her mother was always complaining about them being scattered about the house. My granddaughter would get upset when she couldn't find a specific character. So for Christmas this past year, I ordered her this Shopkins Collectors Case. Her mom was excited to have a dedicated place for the little Shopkins, as was my granddaughter. My only complaint is that the sliding cover was just a little difficult for my granddaughter to master. But, she is nothing if not dedicated (stubborn), and did eventually figure it out. Now she has a nice place to keep her Shopkins characters organized, and she can carry them with her when visiting a fellow Shopkins collector or when she visits one of her grandmas.

This was purchased to give to my daughter for her 6th birthday. She loves everything Shopkins, and has more Shopkins than I can count! So we thought this product would be perfect for her. She opened all of her Shopkins gifts on her birthday, and this one was her favorite. We had fun putting the stickers on together! I really enjoyed that the shelves are flip-able, so you can put earlier seasons (with the holes in the bottom) on the peg side, or flip it and put newer seasons (with flat bottoms) on the flat side! Great product! Will likely order again since she has so many Shopkins to store!

This is a great case to hold your child's shopkins collection. If your kid is anything like mine, this won't begin to contain the sheer volume of their growing collection (I am starting to think they multiply on their own), but this will be a good start. The cases themselves will attach to other cases to form a stack of cases that will be carried around your home like an unwieldy tower of misshapen blocks. I will say I have seen these for a bit cheaper at Target or Wal-Mart, but in general, it is just the shelf tag you will see because they are always sold out. I recommend buying some of these cases, getting the shopkins out of the gallon ziplock bags and put a smile on your child's face!

exactly the same as what's in the store and comparable price, but much more convenient than buying it (a gift) while my daughter was in the shopping cart, plus the fitted box made it easy to wrap (considering the awkward handle) Now, for a review of the actual design of the case: pros: it has a carry handle it's relatively compact it closes tight enough and contains many little pieces it's a pretty color more cases can be connected to it cons: the shelves come out too easily they only go in one way and dd (4 and a half) gets frustrated trying to put them in backwards sometimes the lid slides on instead of snapping open/closed the lid only slides on one way, so again with the frustration part Here's my biggest problem (not necessarily with the case). We only started collecting Shopkins at season 5. Maybe that has something to do with it, but all the newer ones we have gotten do not have the pegs at the bottom, so they don't sit nicely in the case like the picture. She doesn't feel like going through and picking out the ones that do have holes in the bottom, so this pretty much gets used like a suitcase with all of them dumped in between the little shelves, no organization at all. At least they are contained.

I'm glad I found more of these. A great idea to put all those little shopkins.
