Decent Experience with Some Delays with Consistent 8GB DDR3 RAM
I ordered the Consistent 8GB DDR3 RAM, but unfortunately, I received a defective product that was not working at all. I immediately contacted Amazon customer care to explain the issue, and they were helpful and suggested that I wait for 4 days for a resolution. After the 4 days passed, I contacted customer care again, and they escalated my case to a team leader in the investigation department. Their behavior was very supportive, and they acted quickly to resolve the issue. They arranged for a replacement and sent me a new, fully functional RAM. Although the replacement process was time-consuming, the support from Amazon was excellent, and the issue was resolved in the end. Overall, it was a good experience, despite the initial inconvenience.

Not Working
Purchased for second time since the one I purchased a few months back is working quite good. At present my son is using a desktop having H-61 motherboard with Intel i5 CPU and Consistent DDR-3/ 8GB/1600 MHz RAM. Thought to upgrade the RAM size to 16 GB so purchased the second unit. To my utter astonishment the second one didnot work as there was no display at the monitor. When I removed the second RAM the computer was back to life again. Now I removed both the RAM and installed the latest purchased one. Again there was no display. So I concluded that the latest RAM that I have purchased is defective. The problem is that it has got 3 years of Warranty but Amazon has got no replacement/ return policy on this item. You have to approach the manufacturer. The four stars is for the one that I purchased a few months back and it's performance tempted me to buy a second one of the same brand.

Gave extra performance to old PC
I am using a 10+ year old Biostar motherboard with old Phenom processor. I had only Win XP then and was using 2 GB RAM. Later I added another harddisk running Win 7 Pro and added a 4 GB RAm in second slot. Two years ago with no support for XP and 7 Pro I added another hard drive with Ubuntu. This way I could boot to any OS, because some of my old software were essential and would not run on newer operating systems . But I wanted more RAM for Ubuntu. We tried adding a 8 GB Ram i one slot and my 4 gb RAM in the other. XO was fine but 7 and Ubuntu had issues. But systems were working fine with only 8 GB card. Technican advised using single RAM card with maximum GB right now because clock speed (??) of old RAM may not be compatible with 8 GB RAM . So I bought this 8 GB RAM. This single 8GB card boosted the performance on Ubuntu since it can use the full capacity of the card. XP uses only 3.7GB from the same card because that is all it can handle. Win 7 also can handle this new RAM card. So everything is working fine. Now i am wondering if I install one more same card I will get 16GB. Ubuntu will read it but will it be able to handle it. That is the question. Right now start up and programs opening and running is much faster. No crashes or freezing screens on present configuration At the price i paid this card is superb value for money Update: July 7th 2025 Bought another piece to double the RAM, working better than anticipated

STRICTLY DO NOT BUY !!!!
Series of events: 1. The product arrived in a different packaging than shown. Looked extremely cheap and fishy. 2. System booted fine initially, however after a day, the system kept freezing and restarting. 3. Since I had an extra pair of ram so I ran the mdsch utility to check the ram sticks. Turns out product got detected with Hardware level defects when run through Memory check in windows. 4. Checked Reviews and found out there are plenty fale reviews and there are real ones which complaint the same issue where the ram was defective or stopped working after a few months. 5. Raised a return request and going with another brand who has better warranty. This one provides 3 years which is less than standard, seems like they know their products are bad. 6. SPECIAL NOTE: IF you inspect the ram closely you will find that rhe small black chips are not from any particular company, meanwhile i checked my old ram and it had those black chips labelled with Kingston or other known brands. I'd trust those Rams more. 7. I bought it from seller named A1 price A1 product, they seem fishy. ngl.

Not as listed 1.5V
It's a great upgrade for my desktop PC. My other existing installed Samsung RAM is rated at 1.5V, hence I ordered by checking the listing with the voltage rating noted as the same. I can still use it since my motherboard accepted it even though this one actually is at 1.35V only, else it could have been a disaster with gamut of issues to deal with. It's working great so far since past 1 week and hoping that it will continue to work going forward as well. I see there is a 3 year warranty labeled on the product package which may provide some confidence, however I really don't want that to be used at all as I just need to have the RAM work fine with no issues to avoid the pain of warranty claims, downtime, replacements, etc.

It is a good ram stick. Works perfectly fine. Memory capacity is also good. I have installed in my old HP prodesk 600 G1 SFF and it gives good speed. And multitasking is also good. Instalation process is very easy. Now I have a solid 16gb Ram
