Yes it will do anything any othe conventional mixer will do highly recommend this product

Q: Is it supposed to be so noisy? I just bought one and though I haven’t actually used it yet it when testing if it worked the noise was extreme.

Mine seems pretty noisy too but have gotten used to it now! Guess it’s just the nature of having a base for a motor.
