Bostik Express Pointing Mortar Grey - 310ml - Ready-to-Use

I don’t know why ppl put negative reviews on this. I used all of this the same day I got it. It worked a treat on my driveway filling the gaps where the weeds were growing. It’s dries a lighter greyish colour than my driveway which is what I wanted. Will be ordered more of this as soon to great value for money and cheaper than other brands that do the same job. It’s dries nice and hard and easy to use and it’s strong and very versatile with many functions that this can be use for.

To be brutally honest, this is a useful item to have around, unfortunately, the tubes I received were only useful for about 2/3 of the tube.Now, it either goes off in the tube during use or the packaging process is flawed.It is, however a very nice quality once installed but it's not a cheap thing to throw away because the cement has cured in the tube

Did the job, exactly what I needed for filling in a few small motor holes in the wall.

Easy to use, goes on and being slightly sticky it helps it adhere. Easy to smooth and finish off. I did find initially that when I cut the end off the tube it left 3 bars which did restrict the flow, once I cut it back a further it came out easily.

I did actually complete the step repointing job I set out to do using this cartridge and it looks good. But what a faff. I don’t believe mortar was ever designed to be applied from a tube as by its very thick and gritty consistency it’s not going to readily slide out of a fairly narrow outlet. The actual mortar itself is good quality but using a cartridge/nozzle to apply it just does not work. I tried it, hoping it would be an easy and very quick fix for my step but as it was so damned hard to come out of the nozzle I’ll be going back to the” old-fashioned” way and mix up my own mortar, apply it with a trowel and then point it. It gets the 3* purely because of the Mortar quality otherwise it was a 1 *.

Not great! Product hasn't set and is surprisingly still soft a few days later.Waste of money for me personally. I now have to make a trip to Screwfix to purchase another product.

A really convenient repair product for small pointing jobs. Easy to apply straight from the tube and gives a neat finish without needing to mix traditional mortar. Ideal for quick repairs around the house.

Does the job. Need a decent caulk gun and make sure you cut the full top off above the thread to make sure it flows well.
