Recoil Starter Assembly for 45cc 52cc 58cc Chinese Chainsaw 4500 5200 5800

I saw a steal on a Bluemax 45cc 14''/20'' combo package. One of those you see it and have to get it, even though you know something will mess up with it, but at that price you dont care if you get 10 or 100 hours use. One of those deals. The Bluemax is a cheap china made saw, plastic everything like most of the other dozen ripoffs. The coil spring decided to go on holiday and instead of dealing with trying to re-coil the spring I looked for an entire starter assembly like this one. The part was shipped within a couple days to my door. It didnt come with the screws, but no worries the old ones were fine, and it didnt come with an plastic internal housing piece for the assembly, but again it was fine off the old one. The holes were off by a few mils but the screws found their way home. All that I can recommend you do if you need this is, make sure you match the cover to your chainsaw vent for vent, notch for notch, and make sure your saw is what ever cc this part says its fits. After it was installed my chainsaw started right up on the second pull and has seen around 5 hours of start and stop work.

Bought because the one on the saw broke before I even got the saw started. This one got the saw started 4 times today and then broke on pull number 5. Pulls 1-4 took a long time to recoil. In the pics you can see the clock spring came loose already.

Fit perfectly on my chainsaw, and worked like a charm. The plastic is a little flemsy, but still gets the job done.

This is our second replacement for our Coocher 62cc saw from Amazon. The problem is IT'S CHEAP. Before using tie the knot in the end of the pull cord so it's larger. The knot is tied too small and slips out of the huge hole in the handle causing it to recoil into the assembly and busting the thin spring destroying it. We also bought one of the "Sunkey Earlyred 45CC 52CC 58CC Recoil Pull Start Starters" which doesn't have the starting assist feature and it took 30 pulls to get the saw to fire. With this one it's 2 easy pulls on choke and 3 easy pulls pushed in and it starts right up.

Product fit perfectly my blue max 45cc chainsaw.. I did use it a few times, but the quality is not the best.. Just like the original, it is mechanism is plastic and it goes bad relatively quickly. I have already requested a replacement as it was within the return period period.. Having said that, it is OK for light use.. Plus it is inexpensive so that it can be a disposable item

used to repair a clone of redmax gz4000 (?) , chainsaw is all black, bought off Amazon. My neighbor nuked his starter recoil by pulling too hard. Plus, he lost the cover screws! I ordered the correct 5 mm machine screws from Amazon. This recoil assembly fit perfectly and worked well. This has two springs, the idea being it is an easy start, gently though quickly pull up on the cord to get it going, the second spring does the rest of the work. If you yank on the cord like you are starting an old school Stihl 090 with no compression release, or drop start it, you will surely ruin the spring and crack the plastic.
