Compatible with all metals including aluminum, it doses in 30 seconds via radiator or filling loop, maintaining system efficiency and extending boiler life with minimal effort. ## Description Protector F1 is a market leading inhibitor which protects against corrosion and limescale formation in domestic central heating systems. Protector F1 is suitable for use with all metals and materials commonly used in heating systems. For long-term protection ensure concentration levels are maintained and checked annually as part of the boiler or system service. Protector F1 is compatible with all other Fernox products. One 400ml can protect an average sized system (130 litres or up to 16 single radiators) and is added via a radiator or filling loop. Fernox Protector F1 Express can be dispensed directly into a radiator air vent or system filling loop using the appropriate special adapter supplied with the product. The whole process takes less than two minutes. In a single feed indirect cylinder, e.g. β€˜Primatic’ or similar, potable water chemicals must be used. We recommend untreated or sludged systems are thoroughly cleaned and flushed in accordance with BS7593 and Benchmark using Fernox Cleaner F5 Express, before treating with Fernox Protector F1 Express, as existing debris can damage the installation.
