Lifelong customer now!
I was so excited to get this and rightly so! I love my rocketbook matrix! It does what it says it does! As a math educator, it's really helpful to work out all types of math exercises and then scan it into the cloud so I'm not having paper all over the place (I keep all of my math work lol). As an entrepreneur, I can also then use it for any other note-taking, brainstorming or writing I have to do, and either erase that or scan it. I really am stoked for this, and will probably now be able to stop hoarding notebooks and looseleaf! I just got the Panda Planner and am considering a mini notebook as well. A few notes: 1) It's a little tricky to use if you're left-handed though as the ink takes approx 15 sec to dry so will smudge until then 2) using the pen station, or adhesive pen holder, is super helpful as you can only use certain types of pens with rocketbooks and you don't want to lose it; 3) get a mini spray bottle that mists and has a cap or otherwise 'closes' so it's easier to wipe down (sometimes I spray the paper, and sometimes I spray the cloth if it's a small space that I need to erase) and won't accidentally spray in your bag; 4) the rubber/silicone tip is an eraser, so it's good for small and quick adjustments where you don't want to use the cloth, just be careful as you kind of have to wipe/rub the residue away in order to write over the spot again; 5) the frixion fineliner marker pens don't show up that well for me (may be the settings in the app), but it might be better to use the colored frixion gel ink pens instead of the marker pens if you use different colors in your work; 6) definitely get a separate set of the frixion pens with refills with this purchase as the ink in the pen provided really does go fast; 7) there isn't a bookmark or placeholder, so you might want to tie a thin piece of string or ribbon around the binding spirals to keep your place if that's important to you; 8) you might want to get a small supply bag to keep the spray bottle and cloth (and perhaps the pen(s)) together; and 9) I have found it helpful to use a clipboard to write on when not at my desk or table, as the rocketbook is durable but not super sturdy. I mean, you CAN use it without the clipboard w/o a problem, but if you prefer to write on a hard surface often, then a clipboard will help. Hope this is helpful!

The Smartest Buy I've Made on Amazon
I buy a lot on Amazon, but this is hands down the best investment I've made. I used to spend almost $30 a month on notepads. Now, with this reusable binder, I can take notes, scan the pages into files, erase them with a damp cloth, and reuse the same binder again and again. The pens are universal too - I can use them in the binder or on regular paper. Simple, efficient, and it saves my company money every single month, which my supervisor appreciates.

Great for calculations and engineering, but DO NOT GET FOR OCR
I own about 3-4 Rocketbooks with 2 of them being Rocketbook Matrixes. I use them extensively in university since I prefer writing on paper versus a tablet. Since most of classes are math heavy and I prefer using pen over paper, having erasable ink and a reusable notebook are perfect for me. Remarks / Things to consider: - I'll mention it again, if OCR is your thing, DO NOT GET THE MATRIX. Get the regular lined one! - Get a Rocketbook Capsule if you plan on putting this in your backpack or moving them around a lot. I took mine out of the capsule to take a picture and it still looks brand new. - Any FriXion pen/highlighter/etc will work on this. Just make sure it's a FriXion so it's erasable. Amazon always has these for decent prices. - If you plan on using these heavily, I recommend buying a dedicated spray bottle and larger microfiber towel. That way, you can erase a lot more and use the dryer parts of the towel to get rid of excess moisture. Pros: - The grid format of the matrix is perfect for calculations, graphing, and lining up text. Doing any sort of matrix work (the math kind) on the Rocketbook book matrix is so much better than the standard lined Rocketbooks. - The covers are solid and sturdy, the binding is decent, and the pages are pretty good quality. For a notebook that's like $30 USD normally, I would be disappointed if it was anything less. - I use these heavily, and so far they don't show any major discoloration or permanent marks. The only discoloration is a faint tan ring where I accidentally set my coffee down on it and didn't notice until a few hours later. A lot of that stain came out from me scrubbing it with a microfiber. - Scanning in the pages with my phone is pretty easy and straightforward. Scans show up pretty clear, even in bad lighting. The app has come a long way and they actually seem to listen to feedback on it. For example, merging was heavily requested (and some reviews here will even complain about the lack of it at the time of their review) and they just implemented that. Cons: - The price. I love my Rocketbooks but I try to only buy them when they come down in price. My oldest one is a few years now and still holding up, so maybe one day they'll actually pay themselves off. (-0 stars) - The major one that other reviewers remarked is the lack of OCR support with the Rocketbook Matrix. I don't really use OCR myself, but it's crappy that there's still NOTHING in this product page that points this out. I wouldn't dock them if it was clearly marked that it's unsupported, but it's not. (-1 star) - Frixion pens do not last long at all compared to regular pens. Expect to buy more. But that's not Rocketbook's fault. In fact, I'm pretty happy they went the route of using Pilot Frixions. (-0 stars) Conclusion - These work wonderfully for calculations and math-heavy classes. They're expensive, have a bit of technique to using them (so you don't immediately smear the ink), but I much prefer them over pencil/pen and paper. If you can justify the price, then definitely try it out.

Forse il miglior Roketbook esistente, almeno per me che servono appunti "tecnici".
