The problem was that my studs are 16" centers, and most mounts width are less, even the ones for large TV's up to 90". Then, there is the problem to get a 100x100 VESA capability. I did not want to take a chance and have an off-center slide on the mount, so I decided to buy TWO AM Wall Mounts. They both butt up against each other on my center stud, then the ends reach to the next stud 16" away. Problem solved - centered TLV with my elevated sound system, SUPER EASY to install if you are handy with a drill & tape measure. Going into studs is super easy, masonry would be harder since the depth has to be >2". I cannot imagine that some companies charge $190 to do an installation - if you can locate the studs it is super easy and the price is unbeatable! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very low profile and mounts very flat onto the wall *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on November 19, 2020* I diy'd my own wall mount installation for my 50" LG Smart TV. I was able to ditch my huge ugly 50" tv stand furniture piece. It took up ¼ of the bedroom space 💁🏽‍♂️ Now its at the edge of the curb. I choose this mount because of how low profile and flat it mounts onto the wall. I didn't like the way alot of the other mounts stuck out so far from the wall. Make sure you have a stud finder tool to know where to drill your screws through the wall. Or else you'll drill through the paper part of your wall and when you put the weight of the TV onto it, the screws might pull out and your mount and TV will crash onto the ground. Wall mounting your expensive smart tv is something that you only get to do right the first time.
