Review: Actually works! - You get a large carbon filter sheet and can cut to any size you want and the filtration is wayyy better than the previous filter that came with the microwave. I was able to replace the primary microwave filter, cut two pieces to sit inside of the metal mesh filter’s underneath the microwave, and cut an extra barrier filter for the air blower on top of the microwave and still have enough leftover for one more filter. Over the weekend, I grilled steaks on my cast iron and cooked fish. Reduced the smoke and cooking odors by probably 95% while cooking and after only a couple of hours, there were absolutely no lingering odors at all in the apartment. Extremely happy with this purchase!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you just put it in there or does it require the metal frame?**
A: No Metal Frame is required as our Microwave Charcoal Filter Replacement is Rigid and thick so it holds its shape well as you can see in the video. 
Simply just trace and cut to fit into the slot and you will have a lot left over for future replacements.
 
Please note: Charcoal filter location may vary depending on you over-the-range Microwave model. Please see customer reviews pictures as they have used our filter in various make/models. 
 
Side note: Our extra added Activated Carbon is water-based heat applied to the thick charcoal pad so it will absorb much more grease, odors, and smoke and will last much longer than other brands.

**Q: Will this filter fit the Fridgidaire professional microwave**
A: It will fit any microwave, just cut a piece a little bigger than the opening and wedge it in. Save the rest for the next filter change

**Q: Can these be used on any microwave oven? I don’t see any charcoal filters on mine. Will they prevent grease build up on my cabinets?**
A: If your microwave is over-the-range and recirculates then yes it most likely has a charcoal filter to prevent grease build up on you cabinets. We found out most of the factory or aftermarket charcoal replacement filters are very thin and did not contain any Activated Charcoal material so it did not capture smoke, grease, and odors. By using our filter you will notice a difference due to our extra added Activated Charcoal material we have added to our carbon pad.
