Hollyland Mars 300 PRO Version Video Transmission System

I've bought the Hollyland 300, 400, 400S and now I have the 300 Pro. I returned the other 3 because they had too much latency and I couldn't use my monitor because the devices nor my PortKeys BM5.2 monitor had an HDMI loop output. Hollyland hit the bullseye by adding an HDMI loop output to the 300 Pro. Finally, I can use the device and my monitor at the same time. The first thing that I tested was the latency. I used a BMPCC4K, PortKeys LH5H & HH7 as the directors' monitor. Believe it or not, the latency was less than the 300, 400, and 400S. I was amazed! The image quality was excellent on my PortKeys HH7. I tested the transmission range a little. I had the camera in my studio and I went outside of my house. I can say that it went through 2 walls and about 100 meters and I never loss transmission. Everything was still clear and crisp. I'm using the BMPCC4K so I can use the 3 function buttons to add focus assist, false color, and LUT's through HDMI to the HH7 with ease. Lastly, I tested the smart device app. Once again I was amazed! My old iPad Pro 12.9 inch (1st Gen) had less latency than my directors' monitor. I don't know how this is possible. I never thought that WIFI to an old iPad would have less latency than a monitor that the receiver is hooked up to. I have the Accssoon Cineye. The app on it is terrible but the Hollyview app is awesome! It has Waveforms, Histogram, Focus Assist, Zebras, Frame Guides, Magnify, False Color, MonoColor, and 3D LUTs. It has 3D LUTs! Wow! It has only Sony 3D LUT's. I don't know if I can add other LUT's to the app but I don't need it if I'm using the BMPCC4K because I can add LUTs to it and view it on my smart device. The only thing that it doesn't have is an SDI Input and Output like the 400S. My camera doesn't have SDI anyway so I'm good. I forgot that you can power it with any portable power bank through USB C 5V. Overall, this is really an upgrade from the other 3 devices. I'm satisfied with this model so I'm keeping it. No returning for me. This is a must-buy if you're looking for an affordable HD Wireless Transmission Device that has an HDMI Loop Output!

I've used the Mars 300 Pro on a few shoots recently and it's a game changer. It's easy to use and my clients really like getting a feed to a client/director monitor or to their phones. The only downsides to this model (Mars 300 Pro Enhanced) is that there's a bit of a delay (0.8-1 second) so it can be a little jarring at times and the HDMI port is a little wonky but for the price, I can live with those cons.

The Hollyland Mars 300 pro is a game changer at a very affordable price. I have been very impressed by this product:- First, it's very light and well built. It's also very compact. The design is simple, clean and sleek.- you can power the unit via USB-C (that's what I use) or NP batteries and it doesn't seem to draw a lot of power, which is really great.- The transmission is really good. I powered the unit the first time, and it worked flawlessly right out of the box. I didn't even had to set anything up or go in the menu... In just a few seconds I had an image on my client monitor. The HDMI loop through is also a great feature to have.But for me, where the Mars 300 Pro really shine is with its app monitoring “HollyView”:During this pandemic, it has become necessary to keep distances on set, and therefore to include a wireless transmission system in my kit, so the whole crew wouldn't have to congregate and look over my shoulder, or in front of one client monitor. The Hollyland mars 300 pro allow crew members to use their own tablet or phone and use the Hollyview app to monitor what's being filmed. This alone, is just amazing. Cherry on top: you also have several tools in the app to help with focus, exposure, false color...At this price point, the mars 300 pro is a no brainer to me. And I'll be looking for new products coming from Hollyland moving forward.

Simply amazing for the price allows you to transmit video signals from cameras or other devices as well as iOS and android devices although the more devices that I connected the slower the signal which creates interruptions and sometimes latency increases but you still get a decent picture

This product allows me to set up a camera in an area where people will be walking between my ATEM Mini Pro and the camera and not worry about them tripping over the HDMI cable. it has worked perfectly. I've only tested the distance to about 250 ft but it has worked great from that distance. My only struggle has been that there wasn't enough information about what kind of size of batteries to use. I'd like to have seen a chart to tell me approximately how long the sending and receiving units would work with a certain size battery. Instead I had to guess and I probably oversized the batteries for what I need.

This items is can satisfy most of what you'll ever need at any event. The signal is strong and the delay is very short, I believe it's faster than the 400pro. Not many times you'd be further than 300 feet from a stage at a wedding or live event. This is the way I use the 300pro.

Very impressed. Price/performance very good. Wish they could get the latency lower on these for multi camera live music performances but for the price nothing better.
