Multifunctional Bushbox LF (stainless steel)

A little expensive for what is, a piece of folded stainless steel! However it does keep my stove in place when folded and in use, makes a very useful base. Worthwhile purchase, if pricey.

A luxury addition or an essential part of the kit? I'd say this is an essential part of the folding bushbox kit as it is handy for a few reasons: 1 - It fits underneath the assembled stove to provide extra stability and catch embers as they fall through the bottom grate. This helps prevent damage or fire to forest floor. 2 - It holds the folded stove very securely and still fits inside the tough carry case which comes with the Bushbox set. 3 - It can be used for shaving tinder onto or for lighting the fire on. he fire can then be dropped into the stove. Yes, it may be expensive for what is essentially folded stainless steel but it is so good that I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone with a Bushbox folding stove set. Basically if you've already splashed out £70+ on the LF version of the folding stove does it make much difference to the cost to add this too? Not really and it completes the set nicely.

Really good very handy keeps the bush craft LF in place when attached just a good all round piece of kit

Guter Schutz für den Untergrund

The one great thing I like about this is that it gives the stove a solid flat base. It raises it off the ground which helps with airflow and also helps when everything is wet. It’s great if you need a surface for scraping off some fat wood or wood shavings when lighting a fire with a ferro rod. Can also be used on top of the stove for warming up a cup of coffee or if you don’t have the grate.. it’s pretty multifunctional.

I bought this for my bushcraft essentials LF works quite well also multifunctional piece of kit works as a stand but also works as a platform for feather sticks/ fire lighting ect great product
