It's a beautiful keyboard. Takes me way back, too.

For UK users, please be aware that the configuration for this keyboard is US not UK. Select US keyboard from the languages section in Windows setup. This will still leave you without a £ sign as this has become #. To get the £ sign back, have a look for free tool 'Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator', where you can modify the standard US layout to also have a key combination for £.

I like the positive clicky feel to the keys, not quite as positive as a buckling spring which I usually get. The overall key layout is slightly smaller than what I am used to, so does take a little getting used to. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

I have in the past used many different types of keyboards but being trained to copy type back in they days of manual typewriters, I have found the modern silent type difficult to get used to. Too often the keyboards are smaller and when you get up your speed it is very easy to loose track of what you have written, especially when the computer takes a second or two to catch up. Really pleased with this purchase, just like the older keyboards, thankfully not as noisy as the Cherry clicky ones but the keys have the right level of bounce and noise and I can see my speed has already picked right back up. As mentioned by others some of the keys do not show the symbol they produce but if you are old school like me then you find them very easily. Build appears solid too, no chasing the keyboard across desk the surface. Very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone, who like me, is a copy typist.

I desperately wanted this keyboard. And what i got never failed. In Britain some of the keys work the other way round, but it does not hinder me. This takes me back to the good old days. Fantastic product. Sturdy, reliable and the keys click like a keyboard should.

Great to type on if you’re ok with a little clunkiness to the keys. Key text visibility fine for me.

For a copy typist this keyboard is superb, I am very happy with it

The first time I ordered this keyboard it never arrived but I managed to get full refund which was a long time ago BUT NOW it came super duper easily got it without a scratch and I’ve now fell in love with the perixxboard company and all of their products The keyboard works perfectly it’s a plug and play all the keys work when it arrived and it looks exactly like it hehe

Bonito y cómodo

I've been looking for retro-ish items for my desktop setup for awhile and this keyboard has been near the top of my list since then. There aren't many recently manufactured boards that so perfectly mimic the look and feel of a late 90s keyboard, I found it hard to locate any that don't resemble a typical gaming keyboard just with retro-gray/beige coloring. This keyboard was exactly what I was looking for, it reminds me of playing computer games on our old dell desktop. As for the overall sound and key-feel, the sound is clacky but dampened, so you can be assured it won't irritate anyone in the vicinity while still being satisfying to hear. The keys are easy to press and have a very enjoyable springy/gummy kind of feeling. I have no desire to take the keyboard apart to inspect it but I imagine the keys are attached to rubber spring cups like the kind on a macbook keyboard, or at least something similar. There's a very squishy feel to each key press. I am a casual pc gamer, and I can already tell this keyboard will still be enjoyable to use for pc games. As for the quality of the materials used, the casing and keys are obviously plastic, but the plastic does not feel cheap or thin like it will shatter if dropped 3 feet onto the ground. It's sturdy yet lightweight. If you're like me and love the nostalgic feeling of old tech, or if you just like the aesthetic of retro items, I highly recommend this keyboard. I only just received it, but I'm hoping it will last me for years to come, it's already become one of my favorite pieces of hardware I own. I'll be sure to update this review if I encounter any problems with the keyboard throughout regular use.

Le clavier est joli, certes, mais j'ai eu quelques problèmes avec. Un problème anecdotique, c'est que quand j'appuie plusieurs fois sur la même touche rapidement, il se peut que la touche ne soit pas enregistrée. Le problème le plus embêtant cependant, c'est qu'il se déconnecte trop fréquemment. J'ai essayé de brancher a plusieurs ports USB différents, que ca soit USB 3.0, 2.0, ou même un ordinateur différent, mais le même problème surgit.
