The screws worked, but the lock-tight coating on the screws made it hard to know if you had the screw cross threaded. It took a lot of trial and error to get them perfectly aligned. Because of the lock-tight sometime it was impossible to reverse the screw until you felt the slight click so you could forward tighten the screw and not get cross threaded. There a couple of screws that seemed to be cross threading but I think it was the lock-tight that made it hard to screw them in. I get the need for lock-tight, but I remove the old screws and there didn't seem to be any lock-tight on them. Good kit. Just use great caution while screwing in the screws. Also, the "magnetized" screw driver didn't work very good. Screws would fall off constantly.

Had a bottom corner screw missing. These worked fine. The screw fit perfectly and snug. The screw driver works, but it's a bad design though, as other reviewers have said. The thick part of the driver has three rubber o-rings resting in three grooves. If you pull them off you can get a better grip that doesn't slip so easily on the rubber. The top part spins intentionally so that you can hold the driver steady with a free hand or other finger on the same hand and still be able to rotate the driver the same as many other small screw drivers.

I love my laptop. All these wonderful ports without that stupid new tiny port that needs all the adaptors. What I didn't love was that my screws were half missing. This kit solved the whole thing, lickety-split. It came with the screws and the tool needed to get them screwed in. A month or two later, they're all still holding fast and I've never had to think about it again. 100% worth it to save my amazing (now 8 year old) multi-ported genius of an Apple product!!

I was miffed to find the driver was not a good fit for the screws, its not a 5pointed star bit the arms of the star should of been rounded at the end. The driver bit that was included was a pointed star. Four stars because the quality of the screws were top top! Would of given 41/2. ! Another good think I liked is the loctite on the screws threads to keep them from falling out like mine did.

Got for model A1398, 2015 MacBook Pro 15”. Good quality screws, and screw driver. It even includes the two small screws that go on the back center of the bottom of laptop. Screw driver works for most of the screws inside the laptop but not all. The screws included with screw driver are for the bottom panel only, not for internal use.

The base of my MacBook was coming apart due to the loss of the mini-screws. Thankfully, the exact screws were available via Amazon. I had lost 6 out of the 10 screws! Everything is secure again. Having the screw driver included was very helpful. It allowed me to secure the laptop as soon as the package arrived. A+++
