Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips

I have used Sally Hansen Salon Effects for years. I love how they go on and how well they wear and this pattern is super cute. These are, however, defective. The applique was completely and utterly adhered to the clear film front material and there was not way to separate them without destroying them. I have, on rare occasion...from other stores, had the odd container just not adhere at all...like air got in and dried them out. This was like they had been stored in a hot, humid environment that melted the applique to the paper. I have just now contacted the seller, so will be able to update my review if they give me a hassle-free replacement...I'm not willing to pay return postage on a defective product. I want to update my response. I contacted the seller via the links provided. They responded immediately and offered to refund or replace the item. I asked them to replace it. They did right away and included another extra package in a different design as a good faith gesture. I applied one of the packages today and they were fresh and applied easily just as I remembered them. The seller DID ask me to change my rating to 5 stars. I think that is out of line. Ratings should not be "suggested" by the person selling them. I'm giving it an OK, to fall in the middle: I love the design, and when these strips work, they are amazing. I give 5 stars to the seller for their prompt and courteous customer service in making the mistake right. I give two stars because the item was defective. Also, I want to note that I contacted the manufacturer and these nail polish strips are no longer being made or sold by them. What this means is that left over, discontinued stock is being sold and the viability of the storage life of these strips is inconsistent. So beware that you are buying old product that is no longer being made. I'm super disappointed because I loved these! But I'm wondering if the manufacturer discontinued them because they had an inconsistent shelf life. So just beware that yours may be too old. On the other hand, you can take a chance as this seller is willing to replace or refund if there is a problem. Also, Amazon has a seemless return policy too.

Totally surprised that these weren’t dried out! Sally Hansen has discontinued them and it’s always a crapshoot. I wish they’d sell them again. There’s always the Incoco brand. 💅👍🏼👌🏼

They're not as easy as I'd like them to be to apply, but I guess it just takes some practice. It also isn't as thick as I'd like. It peels and chips just like any other regular polish so I don't feel like it's worth the investment.

Super ugly. Not worth a dime. I wear Sally Hansen nail polish strips all the time, so I was surprised that these are so bad.

This product is good when the strips are fresh. I have used the brand of product many times. I found these impossible to work with and had to trash them.

I could not see the green leaves in the picture, I thought it was just a pretty red and whitish pattern. Still, it'll look cute.Sally Hansen makes good nail polish strips that last when combined with my nail strengthening regimen.

Loved the design. Sally Hansen nail strips are some of my favorites.

These are thinner and harder to apply than another brand I've previously tried. Love design and the nail file that comes with it. Overall I would not buy again though.
