what is the recommended age to take this? over 20? 30? or 40 years of age?

I am not sure what age is recommended. But I started taking it in my late 20's per my doctor. I would ask your doctor. But this brand came highly recommended by my fibromyalgia doctor because they do not add sugar, etc to their formulas. Read the label and see all of the bad things they omit.
