I and my bro both bought these based on the good reviews and reasonable price. He has a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited Sahara and I have the 2013 model. Both have the stock RHB head units. Removing the dash components to get the the rear of the radio was easy to follow on this video: https://youtu.be/VtzrNJVTPl4. You’ll need a 7mm socket and small slot screwdriver for this. Running the cable from the front to the rear was easy to follow with this video: https://youtu.be/q-9tXLerAus. BUT, what we found out was the ground was not working with the backup light cables (see around the 10:00 mark) so we grounded to the chassis on the 10mm bolt You’ll need a trim removal tool kit like this as well: https://www.desertcart.com/GOOACC-Removal-No-Scratch-Dashboard-Dismantle/dp/B07V22YC9J which this is the kit I used. There is also a short pig tale red wire that is with the yellow video connector that comes from the back. We did not need this as from what I understand it is for aftermarket radios and standalone monitors of some sort. I just wrapped it in electrical tape to keep it from touching metal and in case I need it in the future. When you go to put the video feed connector in the back of the radio, this package comes with two. We needed the on that has the two cables going to the right (looking at the back of the radio) and NOT the one in the center. Once you run your wiring and get everything hooked up, you’ll need to “flash” your RHB head unit to use it with your camera. What we did was install an iOS app called OBD JScan, each purchased a VIN (see the app for that) and then using a Bluetooth OBDII reader like this: https://www.desertcart.com/Vgate-Bluetooth-Scanner-Android-Compatible/dp/B06XGB4873 you can turn on the backup camera feature. One last thing, we found that the position for the camera is good enough to give you about 10-14” clearance when the red line is met on the parking guide for our Jeep. Between the spare tire and the rear seat headrests, any Jeep owner knows it's a challenge. I've never hit anything in the years I didn't have this camera, but the reality is this backup camera is fabulous and makes things so much easier and safer. The picture is very clear. I connected it to a $100 head unit I bought off a competing online sales platform. I was worried about how everything would work together, but once I got everything connected right, it's been great. One word of caution - don't wrap the connecting cable too tightly. I initially had some interference in the picture, so I decided to loosen things up. Typically I use zip ties to tie lost cable up pretty tightly.
