I work at an anti-2A theme park in Florida and going through security with my tools is now a simple unbuckle, send through x-ray, put on and ready for work. I figured, if it can handle the everyday abused in a dirty and fast pace environment like a theme park, it will be perfect for home. Better than emptying my pockets daily. The inner Velcro belt stays on since it does not have metal. I used a modified pistol mag pouch to hold my LOTO locks, a folding dump mag pouch to put hardware in, a zippered pouch with ear buds, notebook and pen, radio pouch, and flashlight holster. It looks ridiculous but the practicality is amazing. No stitches had broken yet and the buckle never unbuckled. I climb ladders, tall simulators and vehicles, run up eight flights of stairs, run across the park on foot. I’ve jumped from dock to narrow edge of a boat. Crawled under other vehicles and crawled under floors. Shoved heavy tools in the mag pouch to run to a ride to take apart lap bars when large riders can’t get out of their seat. The tools are held close to me. This is important for balance when walking across roller coaster tracks, walking along I-beams, and standing on top of structures small enough to rap my hands around. I take it off if I am wearing a harness and clip it to something near by in arms reach. Safe to say, it passed all of my tests. The first couple of weeks of my wearing it, the kids that operate the rides were nervous. Soon they became comfortable seeing a normal, average women carry a police tactical looking belt. I can't find any info on it here.** A: There’s a reason why you can’t find any info about it. This is NOT a RIGGER’S BELT or HARNESS BELT this a DUTY BELT, RANGE BELT or GEAR BELT. You can pop the stitching by pulling on it with your hands. It doesn’t even have a really cobra buckle otherwise it would have the 25kn rating on the buckle. You could loop the lanyard through the hole and on the belt or thread the belt through the hole and use the loop simply to attach the d ring to keep the lanyard out of the way for larping, costumes, dress up or to look tacticool or high speed. If you tried to put weight behind it you’ll be falling high speed to your death. It’s meant to hold your gloves, keys, flex cuffs, your lighter on the leash but that’s it. Me personally I wouldn’t even trust a real 25kn cobra buckle to hold my weight. They are not rated for horizontal weight bearing only vertical with the buckle perfectly aligned. If you want a solid true belt for repelling to hold your weight or fall protection but don’t want to be stuck wearing a harness all day. Then save your money and your life and get the arcterxy e220 harness h150 riggers belt. The leg straps are detachable so your not stuck wearing a harness all day for the 30 min you actually need it. Hopefully you didn’t try to use the belt for weight bearing activities and are still alive and well **Q: Can u this as duty belt with safirland drop mid thigh drop holster with cuffs and mags ??** A: The molle loops on the belt are pretty stiff and pretty tight. That said, if your holster's belt attachment points can come off so you can feed it through. Youll be fine.
