The happiest Iโve ever been with something electronic
Literally the first time Iโve ever written a review. I HATE setting up all the entertainment components and inevitably something doesnโt work quite right or involves some rigging up that I didnโt want to do. ANYWAY - I bought this so that I could put all the ugly component boxes in my beautiful cabinet below the tv and shut the door. This RF/IR converter took 5 minutes to set up. I stuck the sensors on my Onkyo receiver, Direct TV box, and Appletv box. Works perfectly.

Excellent device. Same as Sewell's for much less
This is a great IR blaster kit, and the control unit is identical to Sewell's BlastIR. In fact, I'm using it with Sewell's keystone jack IR receiver connected via a CAT6 cable -- they work perfectly together. The power supply, being 12V, is a regular AC adapter, not one of those USB charger type. Each of the two supplied IR bugs (transmitters) are dual-headed. The unit accepts 6 IR bugs. Very happy with the purchase. I wish the would make their own keystone jack receiver.

Works good in repeater mode
Works great on my equipment when using the stick-on light emitter on my target components in the closet. I knocked one star off since it did not work with my Onkyo TX-RZ30 receiver when plugging into the IR jack on the back of the Onkyo receiver when following all instructions for both devices.

Onkyo TX-RZ830 9.2 Channel 4K Network A/V Receiver WORKS WITH THIS
I placed my A/V, Xfinity box, etc. into the walk in closet of our third bedroom with the door closed, threaded wire through my wall pass through, and it worked perfectly. I tried a "$10 receiver, (wire w/ plastic knob on end)", that one would try first, plugged it into the back of A/V, pointed my remote, and NOTHING. That's when you start researching a simple fix and learn it will be a costlier fix (Not really, there is no price one can put on a non-responsive A/V unit.) After much time you learn that you plugged a "3 ringed RECEIVER plug into your A/V's 2 ringed NON-active MONO plug! That's where this product comes in. It plugs into the ELECTRICAL WALL PLUG, getting that strong active signal of electricity and sends it to your A/V unit in a way that it can't be ignored. Find your barely visible A/V IR Sensor spot on its Front panel. I pulled up my A/V's Manual on internet, found front panel diagram, and found out where my IR SENSOR resides. Remove the small circle of paper off the back of one round sensor and press it firmly on top of this A/V sensor area for as long as your finger can stand it. Now place the receiver unit near your TV viewing area, so that you can point your remote at it. It flashes, telling you the signal was clearly received, as your speakers increase/decrease in volume! Done.

Great product
This is a great product if your A/V equipment is hidden or behind a cabinet door! Adhesive on the sensors is strong and the cord length for each sensor is more that enough! The receiver sensor also has great adhesive and the cord is also more than adequate. No more unsightly cords! Great product

The S cable it comes with is not usable

it works!
I've been through 4 of the cheesy little $12 repeaters, each one lasting successively shorter times. The last one wouldn't work with my xfinity remote. This one had easy set up and works like a charm. No lag like the others had. Seems a lot more substantial so I'm hoping it works long term.

Stopped working
The product instructions are poor. After getting it working for a short time it stopped a few weeks later. It wonโt register the remote anymore
