Hair feels light, clear. Light pleasant fragrance
Background: I am 55, my hair is long - to my waist at least. If I straighten it, probably past my butt. It's wavy/curly. It has been known to form ringlets on its own. I don't know if it's age, the greys or what but it's been getting drier, frizzier, and indeed it is now the curliest it has ever been. The main reason I keep it long is to hopefully weigh it down and stretch some of the kink out of it. That used to help, it doesn't appear to anymore. Although right now it is long enough to be in my way a great deal of the time. I have been plowing through so many sh/cond over the last few years. All the typical commercial stuff. About 15 years ago or more I abandoned V05. Then Tressemรฉ, that kept me happy for a long time. Next came Suave botanical something - it left me nice and soft. Eventually I got frustrated again, cause I was getting frizzy. I was about to try it again. Garnier, the Fructis. It is very helpful for my dry frizzy curls. But the next day, it was often worse. So I left that behind, but I was considering that again also. It is still in my travel bag, cause I never know what water or weather we'll be traveling to. Smells awesome. I came full circle in that I gave Herbal Essences a shot. I thought, it's been at least 40-50 years, thought they must've changed some. And they have; better than I thought. I eventually supplemented that with what I considered a pricey conditioner ($8 in Walmart): Maui, the pink bottle. I think it says something about watermelon and hibiscus. It sucked into and disappeared into my hair to the point I could not spread it around. It did not detangle, and left my hair kinda... sticky? Also a slippery slime on the floor of the shower, almost dangerous. I finally landed, mixed in with all the other trial and error, back with Aussie. I still have the one with the avocado on it. I recently tried the one with the apricot, but... no. The avocado is better. But I had to buckle down and get the Original 3-Minute Miracle stuff. That has helped the most, for me. It's still not right, though. It's like the following day, it's all dry and yucky. I don't dare try to brush it unless it's right before, but preferably after the shower. I remember loving the old St Ives shampoos and conditioners that came in sets. The jojoba was my favorite, aloe second. I may have had much younger hair at the time, but those old formulas left it soft and healthy. Enter my mad Amazon search. I found this jojoba formula, that also has aloe in it. No alcohol. Cruelty free. Vegan. Perfect. It feels clean. Light. Not as silky as I was hoping to get, but I like it. You have to adjust to non-commercial lather, etc. It's not as fluffy suds. It's a much more natural formula. It rinses super easy and feels clear, refreshed. The Conditioner is good, again, not as silky. But I have a shower comb, and it went thru pretty smooth. Scent is subtle, but very nice, almost a hint of almond. This is going solely by my very first use. I am hoping, and certain, that it will help my hair to heal more with continuous use.

Love the shampoo and conditioner!
They changed their bottle and now I am usable to to squeeze the bottle. Itโs made out of a hard plastic. I liked the old packaging better. Thatโs the reason for 4 stars.

Jojoba!!
I have been using this product for well over 50 years and canโt be without it. Because I now colour my hair, the cream rinse is a must. The bottles have changed but the almond scent is still there!!
