5 Years: A Daily Captions five-year journal

I needed to have a 5yr journal, since the day knew oft their existence. I shopped and shopped, for the perfect one for me (knowing that'd be stuck with whatever I settled on.) At the end of the day, I ordered 3 different 5 yr journals from amazon. I generaly drool over something leather bound, locked, belted, or at least hard backed. But this paperback took the cake. It has such great quotes at the top the page. these can get you going if you've sat down to journal, and a little later your staring off into space, chewing on the pen, with blank paper.. Also The space allowed for each entry is enough for a statement or two. It encourages me sum up the day, and move on. Because 6 lines is so easy to do, I now happily journal every single day. I bought this back in February so I'm excited to start reading back on my "1 year ago today"

I've never used a 5-year journal before, but after purchasing this one, I'm glad I did. I've started journaling so many times before, but stopped within a week or two because I felt that I needed to write a lot. This journal freed me from that expectation, and I find it so easy to write just a few lines each night. I've recently entered my second year, and the book is holding up well. It's now got a well-loved look to it, and I like that. I don't see any problem with it holding up for a few more years. It's also fun to look back and see where I was in my thoughts a year ago. This is a practice I intend to keep up for the rest of my life.

Its a paperback and its a weird print on the cover. After minor wear and tear it looks bad. I do like the quotes on the top of every page. I recommend spending a little more to get something thats better quality. You'll have it for at least five years after all...

I loved the idea of keeping a 5-year journal! I also love the fact that each page has a quote at the top! My dislike is that its paperback. I thought it was hardcover when I purchased it, it looks like it in the pictures to me. The 5 is not embossed on the cover, it's just printed to look like it is. With a 5 year journal, I would expect a hardcover to stand up to the use of 5 years. Not a bad journal, just wish it was hardcovered.

Great purchase. Good quality and appears it will last for the 5 years that I will record my goals. If you write your intentions down it will aid you in accomplishing what you want for your future. And in the last eighth of my life, if I'm still reaching for goals, you should too!

Looks nice and has enough space for a brief daily summary. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress in my journey over the 5 year span.

The book is easy to write in with my large hands and the binding will wear so it will become easier to flatten. I am a male and have large hand writing and it fits well without any wasted space. I am very happy with my purchase.

Was going to give these as a gift (I bought two of them, the other has a multicolored cover), however they were both shipped in a brown envelope together with absolutely no other padding or protection. Both arrived with bent covers, will not be able to gift them now.
