Does the Honey comb side go against the sholder

I put the smooth side against my shoulder.

Does this fit the cmpact model?

No they are smaller than the one use on compact models. On compact models you still have a full grip. The Browning 22/380 is a lot smaller

It is for recoil reduction for rifles and shotguns. Browning makes shirts and jackets with a pocket sewn inside where the gel pad can be inserted while you shooting/hunting. It is a great help for those that flinch on anticipated recoil from large calibers. It it flexible, and does a great job at reducing felt recoil

Can this be cut to fit the vest pocket?

you shouldn't need to cut the pad. it fits perfectly in a browning vest and I would think that if used in another brand the pocket should be close in size. I personally like the size and fit. works well.

Browning射撃ベストの中に入れるようになっている薄いパットです。衝撃を和らげるように作られているようですが今一違いが分からなかったですがサボットスラッグ弾を撃ってびっくり衝撃が緩和されているのです。さすがゲルのパット薄くても驚きの効果です。厚みを上げてあら体に受ける衝撃が無くなるのでは？
