BVV Heptane 99% Lab Grade-5 Gallon

Definitely Heptane! Arrived in a double-wrapped package, with a sealed, safety-capped plastic bottle. Great stuff, as long as you don't sniff it or try to light a fire near it. Just use it for cleaning parts.

I reached out to the company in inquire about the container material.. upon being told first its HDPE first then hours later told its FLPE. Neither of these should be used for solvents intended for extractions. A simple exchange would have sufficed but they double down. First a bold no returns on HAZMAT.. then later if I wanted to return I must pay all shipping.. and no guarantee of a refund. I don't want to be a Karen.. I just want to the product I paid for.. a SAFE solvent. The issue is 100% the container leaching micro plastic into the solvent which will be left behind. Their claim that the solvent "wont sit long enough for leaching to occur" is not only false ( they have no idea how long a customer will store a product) but in that statement the indirectly acknowledged this leaching issue and show a genuine disreguard for customer saftey) Issue has been escalated with Amazon as BVV has no intentions of making this right.. Stay safe! It's impossible to avoid microplastics but that doesn't mean we should ignore them as if we have to accept them.
