Bergeon 55-710 Set of 4 Oilers Plastic Watch Repair Kit

A classic set of oilers. I highly recommend polishing the tips, as it makes them far more effective. Just DO NOT overdo it! Or you'll destroy the fine tips. I tried using a buffing wheel with polish & ruined my first set. I switched to a soft ultra fine foam lapping pad & made a few quick passes, which worked perfectly on the next set. You could start with like 800 grit then move to 1200-1500 & then 2000+ for the final polish. It's soft metal, so a few passes on each side is plenty. Once polished, they work great. Without the polish, oil likes to rest across the surface rather than bead at the tip. The ones that cost $30 each are simply factory polished, so save yourself the money & do it yourself.
