One hot summer day we put up a new wall on a second story of the house we were building, and I accidentally kicked our 6-foot Stabila level off the scaffolding giving it a 10 foot nasty fall to the ground. The level took a beating hitting a tree stump first, then hitting on the ends before landing against the concrete foundation. We checked the level after picking it up off the ground...and it read level horizontally and vertically. Since that day in the hot sun after watching that level having a nasty fall approximately 10 feet to the ground, Stabila levels have been my go-to levels.
