I love this mat for my cat, it’s super cute. It fits two smaller bowls. It’s easy to wash. The edges are not very high at all so if you need high edges I would not recommend.

I love the size and quality of this mat. It's durable, heavy enough to lay flat, and keeps the dry food remnants off of the floor. I use these under my two auto feeders and now have two sets to swap out every day or so. They are easy to clean and store and I love the color options, too! A definite win in our house of cats!

After one too many incidents of stepping on pieces of hard cat food while walking barefoot through the kitchen, I started looking for something that would keep those little chunks in one place (the cat food, not the cats). This mat has done the job nicely -- it's large enough to keep the random bits of food that make it over the edge of their bowl contained on the rubbery surface, rather than scattering onto the floor. Makes for easy cleanup now and then as needed. Being made of silicone, it's obviously waterproof and easy to clean, and the raised ridge around the perimeter of the mat is sufficient to keep any spilled water from reaching the floor as well. PROS: - Easy to clean, as I said - Completely waterproof - Doesn't slide around when cats are eating/drinking from their bowls - This version comes in a variety of sizes, unlike many similar mats on Amazon - Not much of a plastic-y smell when it comes out of the package - Adds a nice pop of color to the room CONS: - It's thick enough to do the job of protecting your floor, but I think it would be nice if it were just a tad thicker to give it some rigidity. If there's water spilled on it, you definitely couldn't carry it to the sink without the mat folding over and spilling. You need to wipe it up in place, not that it's a big deal. - I wish the logo wasn't printed on the mat.

After a lengthy search on Amazon, I was able to find this particular silicone pet feeding mat in the right color, purple, and for a most reasonable price. Many of the feeding mats, in my opinion, were unjustifiably expensive. This purple mat fits nicely underneath my dog's elevated feeding stating catching all of the dropped kibble and most of the water. I have found that it can be difficult to clean as a simple wet paper towel is ineffective. A good cleaning of this mat requires detergent, a scrub brush, a water hose outside, and a fair amount of elbow grease in order to get all of the dried saliva, food, and water off of the silicone. However, it does come clean and looks as good as new. This particular mat has maybe two inches all around under the frame of the elevated feeing station. However, for a large dog, another inch or so would be even better. My dog is a relative neat eater, so the mat does not get terribly dirty just enough to need attention. This has been a good addition to his feeding station and has alleviated the mess that would have accumulated under the frame if the silicone mat had not been placed there. Top 3 Likes: -Sturdy, thick, waterproof, serviceable silicone that is skid-free for a reasonable price -Keeps under raised eating area free of kibble -Bright purple color with a selection of 10 colors Top 3 Dislikes: -A bit small; another 1-2 inches all around would offer more cleanliness especially for a large dog -Tough to clean. It is easily wiped off, but scrubbing is required to really clean -Only 2 dislikes!

Great little silicone mat. I use it to put on top of a plastic storage box that I keep my dog's food in and I put his food and water bowl on top of the container. I was using puppy beds to cover the top of the container because every time my dog drinks or eats, food and water would go on the top of the container. I saw this and thought I'd give it a try and I'm glad because it's reusable and I don't have to buy puppy pads to keep on top of the dog food container anymore. It is a little wonky if you try to pick it up and there's water on it because it will spill on the floor cuz there's not a wide lip on the mat but what I do is I just get a dish rag and kind of soak up the water and wipe the mat. It's great

I originally was very pleased with this mat, but after continued use OUTDOORS, it got moldy and water accumulated under the mat, leaving the deck wood wet for a long time. I did wipe it down daily, but it still got moldy. The one I bought for INSIDE use was fine, it cleaned up well and has lasted nicely after numerous rinsings and cleanings.

This mat is a lifesaver! It keeps the food and water mess contained, and cleanup is so easy — just rinse or wipe. It doesn’t slide, and the color options are super cute. Great quality silicone, very flexible but thick.
