Mine stayed white; never did go clear. Not satisfied. Suggestions please?

Use a little bit hotter water. 1-1 1/2 min coffee cup in microwave. Take out and then drop it in until it goes clear. Mold on lower teeth super fast. Boiling water will destroy it. It may take a couple tries. Hope this helps. Thanks

What kind of plastic is it?

It’s a malleable plastic with a low melt rate. Don’t think you’re going to figure out what it is. It seems like a lot of money but it’ll save your lip

Can a brass player use this? I have very misaligned, front bottom teeth. One tooth, in particular, sometimes makes the inside of my bottom lip raw.
