Good cans to store pet foods
Apparently, these are the 1-2 lb cans a little smaller than what I wanted but worked out well anyway. To store feed while traveling they worked great I just had to take more than expected on the trip. They sealed up tight the fit was good and the grandkids drew pictures and we hot glued the art to each can. They come just silver plain but are decorate able. extremely durable and well made.

Better than Old Ways
I used to use old coffee cans to make my pumpkin bread. They were only food for a short time and they rusted. I like these better but, you have to use a can opener to get the ridge out or you canโt get your bread out in one piece

Remove the lip before using.
The 1 lb cans are perfect for making round loaves of bread. In reading recipes, many comments refer to the problematic โlipsโ that make removal of the finished product difficult to impossible. Some even recommended removing the bottom lid, which of course makes reusing the can impossible! Itโs very easy, however, to remove the lip with a basic can opener. Voila, perfect vessel for baking, with no sharp edges. I strongly recommend these cans.

Decent replacement if dogs chew up plastic containers
I don't know why I thought this would be bigger (lol), they are after all the same volume as my large yogurt containers which they were replacing. My landlord's dog would steal and chew up the yogurt containers, but leave these metal cans alone. Either way, I plan to create little Lacey edging via crocheting someday to make it a bit more decorative.

Cans have a lip that makes diameter of the top smaller than the rest of can;also lids very flimsy
I bought these cans because I have 2 recipes for homemade bread that need to be made in coffee cans, and it's hard to find metal coffee cans in the store now. However, because of the lip that I mentioned in the headline, once the bread is baked you can't get it out of the can because the baked bread inside the can has a larger diameter than the lip. Also, 1 of the lids broke simply from the rising bread pushing on it when it was rising. If you want to use these cans simply in which to store certain things they would be fine, as long as you don't need a strong lid. ADDENDUM: I discovered that I could remove the lip on the cans with a can opener. My first 2 loaves of bread were ruined(I had to break them up in small pieces to get them out of the cans), but at least from now on they will work for making my breads.

Coffee Cans
Nice size cans for this and that type stuff in the garage. Not as big as a regular size one lb coffee can but they are ok.
