I ordered this blender with some reservations because I really wanted one with a glass jar. But I also wanted the multi-level blades, and I was unable to find one that had both. This is a HUGE blender and will handle considerable quantities. I tested it out with things that I make every week: pesto, a flavoured mayonnaise and almond milk, as well as a curried parsnip soup and grinding walnuts. The pesto and mayonnaise are the things I really wanted the stacked blades for. With my previous blender I was constantly having to push everything down the sides of the jug to the blades: not so with this one! For the pesto I 'grate' the cheese and grind the pine nuts separately, then mix that in a bowl, then blend the garlic, basil and oil together before mixing with the cheese and nuts. I use Grana padano in block form, and use the blender to whizz it to a fine 'grated' consistency. I was a little concerned that the blender might make it too sticky, but it worked well to get it to a fine grain. For the basil mix, I found I needed to add more oil at first to get everything to the level of the lowest blades, but it worked well and with only one 'push down' needed to detach the basil leaves from the side of the jug. The mayonnaise I make is flavoured with sun-dried tomatoes, and I use the oil that the tomates are packed in. With my previous blender I found that as the oil is added and it got to more than about half a pint in volume, I had to very frequently push down into it it let air escape. With this Ninja, however, the stacked blades worked just as I hoped, and the mayonnaise churned properly even as the volume increased - again only one scrape-down needed. The nuts (almonds and walnuts) for nut milk ground down well without releasing too much oil, and for soups it has been excellent. Overall I'm very satisfied with it - I just wish they did a glass jug!

When I bought the product, I was looking particularly for a blender that would be helpful with making smoothies. This one has a special cup that you can place directly on the blender and then drink straight from it. Because the plastic is thick but quite light at the same time, it works like a charm. The blades in the blender are very sharp, which means it easily blends ice or harder food such as nuts. However, you need to be careful when cleaning the blades manually not to cut yourself, they're really sharp. It's a good thing the blender can auto-wash when you put water in it, it's very convenient. I've been using this blender every day for the past 6 months and it's significantly helped with my morning routine. It takes just a few minutes to prepare a shake and you don't need to clean the jug as I can make the smoothie in th smaller cup. I've been very pleased with the product so far, it's of a quite high quality so it's definitely worth its price. The only negative thing about it - it can be quite loud. I live alone so it's not an issue but if you use it in the morning it definitely will wake up your family.

I want to begin by pointing out, I purchased the Homgeek 2000w blender which was extremely powerful but developed a fault early on. I then decided to purchase a more recognised brand and stumbled across the Nutri-Ninja which has impressive reviews. AESTHETICS- The black and brushed silver design is very stylish and can fit into most kitchen themes. The Ninja name is also very fitting for the jug blades almost look like multiple little samurai swords lol. ERGONOMICS- All buttons are easy to press and the handle is comfortable to hold; even when the jug is full. The portable bottle is also very narrow in design to fit most hand sizes. QUALITY- This was the biggest surprise for me. Part noticeably 'click' together firmly and feel like a nice snug fit. No parts are loose or feel flimsy. The jug has a quick release button on the lid and it feels very well constructed. Theres thick rubber gaskets around the lid and the spout opening to protect from leaking when in operation. The portable bottle is quite very well made and the plastic is very thick which I didn't expect; especially compared to other bottle style blenders. The base of the blender has suction cups on all four corners which are actually quite effective at keeping the appliance stable and secure. PRACTICALITY- The Nutri-Ninja is fantastic for everyday use as you've got the jug and the portable blender bottle to suit different requirements. I personally use the bottle blender for my daily vegan protein shakes and the jug for making my weekly 2 litre dose of green smoothie. FLAWS- As stated previously, I initially purchased the Homgeek 2000w Blender and found it blended the ingredients of my green smoothie faster than the Nutri-Ninja. The Nutri-Ninja requires an extra couple of minutes of blending in comparison however, this may be because its also 800w less in power?! I've found the tower blades in the jug are a bit of a pain to clean due to the design. The biggest flaw is the operating noise. The Nutri-Ninja is hella LOUD! It's like an alarm clock in the mornings as I wake the whole house up whilst making my vegan shakes. CONCLUSION- I'm glad I purchases this particular blender as the pros massively outweigh the cons and the brand/quality speaks for itself. I would definitely suggest waiting until this device is on offer around £99 as I don't this it's worth the original price of £150. I would also recommend buying the additional accidental breakdown cover for extra protection, especially as components like the jug could break if dropped. Pictures and videos attached.
