I had a rim rusted on to my car. After trying everything I could think of for days. I oder these 3 jaw gear puller in the morning they arrived by 5pm. With in seconds of having my car jacked up the rim was off.

Worked great. Lower bandsaw wheel was stuck and I did not want to bang it off and possibly bend it or put dents in it being it’s aluminum. This 6” puller worked great pulling it off so I can put a new tires on my 17” bandsaw. Would buy again.

I've used all three of these for various tasks from pulling off a differential pinion flange to pulling bearings off of a mower deck spindle. They work and are very effective. They're pretty basic and fine for occasional use, but if you're a pro or you have something that requires a ridiculous amount of brute force, I'm sure there are ways of destroying them. My only gripe: When using an impact gun to turn the screw, the nuts that hold the jaws on will shake themselves loose and it will fall apart. I find myself constantly reassembling it after each attempt. I could use thread lock, but then I wouldn't be able to flip the jaws around for the other configuration. What I might do is go get some nyloc nuts from the hardware store to keep them from disassembling themselves. Edit: I did manage to break the medium sized one. I can't remember which job did it in, but I noticed the next time I went to use it. The sheet metal link between the center part and one of the claws stretched and gave up. The good news is that I can probably make another link pretty easily.

Best for a more controlled, better center pull. Easy to operate once you’ve gotten it positioned correctly.

I had already ordered one of these tools from another site because it was less expensive. It came in a big mess with no instructions and it was assembled incorrectly. I bought this set and it came with a manual. I used the smallest one to help me dislodge my glass cutter's grinder that I had accidentally left on the grinder, only for it to rust on. I sprayed the bit shank with WD 40 and left it on for a few days. When I used this tool, the bit came off. Now I can use my grinder again. Voila!

Dumb design. The links are too short. The tensioning screw is regular screw thread. It should be acme thread. This makes it harder to turn under load. I should have zoomed in on the photo. They still work. Im gonna cut off one side of the arms to complete my task.

Haven't used yet and didn't realize these were 3 jaw when I needed a 2 jaw. Very nice quality and will come in handy when needed.

The pullers may not be as heavily built as the tools of yesteryear, however, their fit and finish is exceptional particularly for their reasonable price and more importantly they work! The 8” puller was immediately put to work pulling off both rear bearing hub assemblies on our BMW X3 and it did the job with ease. The three jaw design certainly makes setup and operation more convenient than my two jaw pullers. Great tools at a reasonable price! I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase!

It has everything that you need to pull. Most pulleys. Very good product well built
